2. Passport Initial Setup

how do you do a full reset?, since my passport was failing the validation process and somehow it skipped it, now I can not find how to go back to make it go though the validation process, even a full reset skips that part. under advance there is an option called erase passport but it does not fully erase it, it only wipes the seed, it does not take passport to its initial state and it does not wipe the pin. I need a full erase, to start from the validation process.

Hi Sergio, there is no way to fully reset Passport. This was a decision we made to ensure that a malicious actor couldn’t reset the device back to factory settings and then sell it as new.
