Jonah Simpson I wouldn’t go that far. Just because they aren’t strung out on drugs and alcohol and making a living off of extremely dark and angry music that leaves them wanting to kill themselves at the end of the day doesn’t mean they aren’t Slipknot anymore. Everyone seems like they expect them to do “IOWA” all over again every time they make new music and ignore the fact of how dehumanizing that really is

Seth Frazer well they kinda have a point bc nothing sounds like what u would expect from Slipknot after Paul died, the songs aren’t the same they don’t have that Slipknot feel to them, so I do believe them when they say that Paul wrote a lot of the music, bc .5 and We Are Not Your Kind don’t really sound like the first four albums u know, idk if that made sense but just listen to them in comparison

All 9 talked about what it meant to be together and how they all stood out not only as a band but as individuals as well. Here's how I see it: #0 Sid - the thoroughly insane free spirit, reckless abandon. #1 Joey - the chief creative driving force, the one who breathed life into the band. #2 Paul - the glue that held the band together, the one who helped give the band a sense of direction. #3 Chris - the calm and collected one. #4 Jim - the insightful, yet slightly arrogant intellectual. #5 Craig - the silent would be assassin. the one who loved the gig but hated what came with it. #6 Shawn - the founding father, the one everyone looked at when they weren't sure what to do. #7 Mick - the menacing, brutally honest monster. #8 Corey - the one who articulated the anger and pain everyone was carrying with them.
