What are you using specifically when you are painting the gold with a paintbrush please? If it’s alcohol ink is it literally just the gold ink with nothing added? X

Hi Dianka, I’m trying to copy a little of your Geode painting. I have some Treasure gold platinum. Do I add water or flotrel.? I mixed my glue and water to make flotrel! Is that ok? Also I used some premixed metallic paint. It looks grey. I’m nervous because I am doing a canvas 24x36 for the first time! Really appreciate if you can help!

When you put the glitter line in the syringe is the canvas hard from the previous pour? Also is the glitter syringe line hardened when you outline the glitter line with the gold paint brush. or is it still wet? I tried the glitter in the syringe and it just flattens out. What is the consistency to make it say in a line. ? Love your work !

I love this so much! I love the pigments you use. When you say “you can use anything” like with the purple, do you mean you just mixed the resin with acrylic paint? Haha I know so little!

I've been stuck for awhile now. I'm a regular fluid artist, well have been, and got burned out on doing some of it's techniques, but, I know it's time to change it up a bit. I have a little experience with working with resin using pigments as well. When I woke this morning and opened my phone your video was the first thing I saw it was promoting your new pigments. Oh! I didn't catch when the video was made that don't matter. I just know I'm ready to learn this from you. Does your art sell well? I know that's nosey, I'm sorry, but I want to find a way to expand my Art journey, and hopefully, make a living by doing this art form, looks like it takes a lot of time. I also know the pigments and resin isn't cheap, so if I get stuck along the way, are you still able to help with this art form? Guess what I'm asking is it a great selling art technique? Just know yours is beautiful and looks fun to do. I'm ready to learn. Thank you! Jamie

Are there any classes i can take to learn all the do’s and don’t with epoxy?! I find this a passion of mine that i really want to get into more. I’ve always been artistic and this is just taking it to a whole new level! 😍 Now, i know in time, would my art look as good as yours.. but i need a starting point. I need to know what I’m doing before i just try jumping in. Any suggestions on schools that teach how to work with these or even these specific techniques? Not just basics but that and unique pieces. Btw your work is beyond incredible!! 😍😍

Hi! Is this on a canvas or board?
@diankapours62145 жыл бұрын
This is actually canvas. I don't recommend pouring resin on canvas though - I did it because I had two laying around that I wanted to make use of. You can see areas where my resin was migrating to lower points of the canvas. Birch panels or MDF boards do the trick.

Stunning 😍 I love it 💞 Did you use a golden posca marker for the thin lines? 🤗
@diankapours62145 жыл бұрын
The think lines are actually craft markers from Michaels. I live by Posca pens - but their gold is a bit yellow. Otherwise, almost everything else I use is Posca

Janice Walters I use craftsmart from Michael’s and Arteza Acrylic Markers (10% off if you use code: Diankapours1) and yes, when I mix my glitter into my resin, I like to add some pigment in there!

@@diankapours6214 Nice! I'd love to see a video on your crushed glass technique. I've seen the towel over glass and then crush, and also boiled the glass and then putting into an ice bath- and then crush. Any tips from you would be great!
@diankapours62145 жыл бұрын
Shae Prachar I actually do exactly that! I put the crystals (or regular glass) on a stove, heat it up and then dump them in ice cold water. I used to crush them with a hammer under a blanket but then I would get lots of lint and glads flying everywhere. So I would put all of the crystals in a big ziplock bag (actually I would bag it again 3 times) and take a hammer to it! I should make a video, you’re right!
@shaeallday19565 жыл бұрын
Diana Obniski awesome thank you! I didn’t even think about multi-bagging!
