most problems ask for critical value as well. why do most videos not include that function? is there a way to find it with technology and not the chart? thanks so much.

The TI 84 by default uses the pooled proportion?

I might be buggin but isn’t the p value more than alpha?

@ 3:48 in the video, notice the "E-7" on the end of the p-value number. This means the p-value is 1.5281815 * 10^(-7) ≈ 0.000000153.

I'm so confused how you rejected alpha when alpha was 0.05 and the proportion (pooled proportion) was 0.928 which is way larger than alpha.

Alpha is compared to the p-value, which is *not* the same as the proportions or pooled proportion. You can explore the p-value concepts in any of our books (free PDFs on openintro.org/books), or you can check out the following set of videos that gives an overview of the relevant chapter: kzbin.info/aero/PLkIselvEzpM7Pjo94m1e7J5jkIZkbQAl4
