Good game by both teams. Foul trouble forced Purdue to use different lineups. Great practice for later in the year.

No it wasn't it was horrible for Purdue.

@@KadenHartley I guess I somewhat disagree. Zach went out with early foul trouble and Minnesota shot WAY above their heads from outside. Purdue adjusted, and their bench came in and helped quite a bit. Being down around 10 at home at halftime, then coming back with adjustments to win by around 8 or so is kind of huge. Now in the NCAA they will see teams that will continue to shoot above their heads and they will need to play better, but this gave them real in game experience on how to play with different lineups. This is similar to why teams don't really press Purdue this year compared to last year. They are a lot better at it this year because they played against it. Still not perfect but better. The issue with hot guards getting open shots from deep is still a problem for Purdue, and a fast guard who can create his own shot is still a problem but they are getting better at it. They are not some great defensive team, that is for sure but they are getting better. Will they make a final 4? Possibly but that will require some luck. There are so many good teams that can have a hot night, much like Minnesota did. One dude who normally shoot less than 30% from 3, suddenly shoot 60% that night and he fires up a bunch, can just kill you.
