Here is a helpful quote: "What others think of me is none of my business." So, so true.

I really respect you and the work you do. I've watched a lot of your content about job search and interviewing and it's helped me when I was looking for a job. I'm an ESL teacher by profession and now a business owner to my own ESL tutoring company called Applied ESL. I have experience being a job coach working in the Asian community and really enjoyed it. I was teaching and job coaching at the same time. Between that experience, my own experiences and watching your videos have all inspired me to offer job coaching to middle aged ESL adults. Now that I'm 41 and majority of ESL adults I've worked with are middle-aged, I feel we don't always get the support needed in our job search and/or career change. I want to thank you for all you've done to help so many of us. Continue to pursue your passions and direction. I'm in a transitional period after becoming divorced and making transitions in my business. And I relate to the spiritual aspect to what you shared. I can relate. I'd be interested in hearing more about your perspective about this topic and how it's impacted your life. Sorry for the long message but wanted to share how I feel. Thanks again and congrats on becoming a mamma!

Being authentic and vulnerable=true magic. Thank you, Linda. Such brilliant insights into those 'what if' and the 'what will people think' questions. With those questions, I stopped myself from exploring countless opportunities. Fortunately, and fairly recently, I've seen the light and released that counterproductive and toxic energy. I recently saw this brilliant twist on an age-old question: What's the best that can happen? So appreciate what you're sharing.

I was on the search for a new job since August of 2022, and I’m so glad I started watching your videos around late October/early November. Early January, I got a job offer and finally placed my two weeks notice. I’ve closed that chapter now, and I’m preparing for my new one for early February. I’ve been nervous because of the What Ifs that have been popping up, but your words are helping me to realize I’ve got this and that I can be confident in handling any obstacles as they come my way (if they even come at all lol).

Appreciate for making this video and sharing your own stories. These two questions exactly stopped me from moving forward in recent years, and I can definitely feel how fearful and anxiousl I'm for starting a new chapter of my life. Will keep your words in mind and take action for what my heart tells me what I really strive for.

I can’t believe through such a hard time you were able to bring out ALL of the good and helped deflect this dilemma into advice for other people going through the same thing. I love anything that you upload. The blessing your spirit has REAKS out of your body the moment you speak. About ANYTHING.

Thought before I was the only one who feels that. perhaps it came from my upbringing that my aunt keep on saying that am a weirdo. well, maybe yes 😄 but I guess it was all due to childhood trauma. Thanks for bringing this up. There were also many times in my life that I wanna hide thinking nobody would understand or I'll only be judged. People won't understand where am coming from. But this just confirms that there's a gift for being authentic. Authenticity with the right motive to express and at the same time to inspire brings people to light. We tend to support and help each other which is very rare but needed nowadays. More of this, Linda! 🙏

Oh my god, THANK YOU for making this shift in your channel. I thought I was the only one feeling these emotions. Watching your older videos made me feel like ”everyone are just able to listen to these advices and make a change in their life. But I am stuck, and will be that forever”. Your older videos where great (!), but now after watching your two latest videos, something justed clicked. It felt like I finally was saved. I also have these believes about myself that I am not good enough. ”What if..”. It’s not enough just knowing HOW to get a new job, the practicals. When you have these emotion blocks inside of you. Looking forward to follow you and your channel in this new amazing way ❤️ xo Elin, all the way from Sweden!

Linda, thank you very much for sharing very useful knowledge that makes me more confident to continue to realize my ideas in my career and business without wasting my time and energy to find answers to damaging questions. i will definitely share to my network as well. THANK YOU!!

Thank you for sharing this insight. In a seemingly ‘microscopic’ level of scrutiny from strangers which leads to generalized perception of a ‘smaller’ (when there so much to still experience, much bigger planet than most will ever care to know) world with little room for error. We are given the duality of positive or *not* possibilities to navigate life’s journey within environments affected by yes, ongoing situations beyond our control such as: the flow of information, mass movement traffic-frequency of people carrying social messaging projected in our environment (by air and road travel) and inherited/ subscribed cultural influences/views, upbringing experiences held by others (subjected to the court of ‘public opinion’) daily or *** when one is more or less susceptible/sensitive to notice the effect of influences observed while in transit. *This grounded way of thinking shared supports a refocus on establishing for oneself ( and with those closest to us on a regular basis) how we are to maintain a purposeful, intentional way of living, based on our own defined values.

Wow.I am enjoying this "new " Linda very much. Only one thing Linda, talk to us as you were talking to your good friends, who love you and accept you unconditionally. Otherwise you still come across as defensive, not sure of why you are doing what you are doing, and if it's the right thing to do. You don't have to apologize to anyone for being you.

Dear Linda, thank you for sharing your personal feelings, emotions and thoughts in your past two videos and overall, for offering such hands-on, actionable and straightforward career advice free-of-charge, inclusive for everyone. I've learned a lot about career design from you and still do. ♥️ As a fan of your YT channel, I was dying to want to be a fan of you, as a person, too. However, I realized that I knew nearly nothing about you. I thought that was a pity because according to my intuition, you're an empathetic, helpful and impact-driven person who has lots of interesting stories to tell. I wasn't expecting you to be a full-on 'influencer' revealing all of your personal life and details you'd feel uncomfortable sharing. But I was interested in learning about Linda as a person, what drives her in her core, what sets her soul on fire, what annoys her, what makes her beautifully human. I'm happy to finally witness this. Thank you for your courage and generosity - not only towards us, but especially towards yourself. You deserve to live your authentic self, irrespective of what outcomes and results it might bring. I'm so happy to finally identify not only as a fan of your advice, but as a fan of YOU AS A PERSON, Linda. 🎉 Best regards and much love from a fellow-HSP and half-Asian
