I know he carried ASU and they loved him there, but could he be the Adam Morrison or Jimmer Fredette of college football? He’s not a freak athlete right? If the first line of your running back scouting report says the word “heart” he should be a day 3 pick. Also, highly drafted running backs should be treated like cherries on top of already completed sundaes. The Bears probably should go 3/3 trenches in the first two rounds.

As a Packer's fan, I understand the Emeka pick, but CB is their number 1 need. If Morrison, Amos, or Revel is there, they're drafting one of them. They cannot go through the 2025 season with an injured Jaire, a veteran starter in Nixon, a solid CB 2 in Valentine, and a bunch of UFDA's talent at CB.

This team has bigger needs and this won't happen, but a 49ers fan friend of mine brought up the idea of drafting Tyler Warren at 11 and basically having him take over all of the snaps that Juice plays moving all around the offense. I thought that sounded super fun. Imagine having Warren, Kittle, a healthy McCaffrey, and choose two of Deebo/Jennings/Aiyuk/Pearsall all lining up in interchangeable positions. And imagine having both Warren and Kittle in there adding blocking in the run game. Again, this maybe isn't the most practical thing and I'm sure it won't happen but ever since my friend brought it up I cannot get it out of my head.

Packers fan here: Your rant was completely on point, however, if you're predicting what will happen, the Packers probably aren't going WR in the 1st. Gutekunst once again said he doesn't put a lot of stock into having a WR1 to rely on. He mentioned out of the final playoff teams none of them have that go-to WR. We also just picked a new DC last year, and we have a history of drafting dudes for our new coordinators to implement their scheme. We need either a monster 3-tech or a CB. Walter Nolen would've been interesting. I personally think Derrick Harmon can be that guy, but PFF hates him for some reason. But if we're going another position I think Trey Amos would make a ton of sense. He's a great player with good height, which is what we're missing. The only thing I'll say is that Egbuka is a very good talent to be on the board at #23, so maybe he'd just be too good to pass up. The thing I dislike about going WR/CB is we're not getting any trench guys.

Absolutely love y'all's content. As a 9ers fan, I hated Barron at 11. It's a solid safety class, with players like Starks, Watts, Nick E, etc. one of them will inevitably fall to the 2nd round. SF has needs like IDL, OL at the top of their boards. As you said; Walter Nolen was impressive, and has massive upside. Nolen, Pierce, Stewart or one the top linemen (Membou, Campbell, Banks) all make more sense.

As a Packer fan, very ok with Emeka Egbuka round 1. Great pick. 2nd round, died a little when you gave Thomas to the Steelers 2 picks ahead of us, but that tracks. Idk how I feel about Hairston. I think he's a bit too light and is more of a zone corner. Hafley ran more zone towards the end of the year, but it felt out of necessity rather than that's what he wanted to do. I think they're looking for a more press/man corner that's good in run support. I think I would have maybe preferred Jihaad Campbell at that spot. Edge Cooper Looks like a future star, but I'm still skeptical on Quay Walker, even though Gutey and McKinney seem to love him. Behind them are a lot of question marks and I'd like some depth at linebacker though this might be a little early to answer that. Love the show guys!
