In the pen and paper game I would very rarely get a kreznikov ( the original sandy) because it was originally it's effects where always on 100% of the time once you got it. you had to readjust your whole life around the fact that everything is now in slow motion 100% of the time.

The nanorelays aren't bugged, the timers are. It does increase it by 2 seconds, if you don't have the nanorelays installed, the timer will say 11 seconds, you get an extra second after the timer goes off.

This is actually not a bug, if you start a timer at 15.00 it will be 14.99 faster than you can read it. Your eyes are chemical, they simply can't work that fast

Not having the loot rebalance mod or anything, vanilla 1.6 gameplay, made this way more fun. For the first while, your not going to be that strong at all, especially if you go full David mode and use just fists and sandy when you can get one. When you get your first cooldown reduction mods, it all starts coming together, you feel yourself slowly getting more powerful. For immersion, I'd say just plan out the build ahead of time, like where to buy or find all the things in this build to get naturally during playthrough. Even if your gear is not full legendary, that's fine. If you do to much, you'll become a god to quickly and it'll be very boring after that. Remember the original Hacker builds and killing a whole building with one Contagion? Handicap yourself for a better experience.

If you use this plus a kerenzakov and the nano relays to extend duration you can immediately use the kerenzakov when sandi is on cooldown and as soon as kerenzakov expires sandi is ready. Its a hoot.

Got a similar build. Focused on Reflex and Tech to 20, Cool 16, Body 12. Legendary Lizzie as main weapon, secondary Legendary Satara, Legendary Crash with silencer for stealth (for giggles). Equipped my Qiant with 2 legendary heats and a 5% crit chance, paired with legendary Kerenzikov and epic Nanoray. Keren has 3.5 sec duration without Nanoray, Nanoray adds 2 extra sec to Sand and Kerenzikov. With this setup, I’m getting longer dilation duration and only a half sec of cooldown waiting period between the two. When Sand is active, you’ll get 14 sec of dilation and with Kerenzikov you get 5.5 sec dilation. When Kerenzikov is active dilation slows to 90% and Sand is 25%.

As cool as Kereznikov is you kind of don't need it with how often you can trigger Sandevistan. So I've been using the other 2 time slows Synaptic Accelerator(when you get caught) and the Reflex Tuner(that triggers at low health) Makes you like spiderman kind of.

I've been using a sandy blade focused build with gorilla arms, which come in handy for "Beat on The Brat" quests, or beating up Cyber Psychos without killing them. Just pop sandy and then go to town on their dome as fast as possible, and they go down pretty quick (as a level 25 - 30+ character, anyway).

EDIT: Rumor confirmed, Update 2.0 killed the build. 😭 The current rumor floating around is that the QianT Mk4 Sandevistan got removed from the game in Update 2.0, and that Sandevistans in general don’t have mod slots anymore. If that’s the case, this build is dead. I’ll find out if this is the case in tonight’s stream, but if it is, I apologize for wasting your time lol.

@@astr0cade it’s not the same, it has a longer cooldown time, shorter duration, and more powerful time dilation. It’s still pretty good but you’re not going to get a 2 second cooldown from that.

You get a 50 percentage point increase to crit damage but you have to trade it for both sandevistan cooldown and duration. You also need higher Dex before you can use it. Of course, the wikia could be wrong. I wouldn't know.

The Nanorelays functioning properly since the the buff duration on screen starts at 13 seconds which means, we start with 14 seconds on start and in that very moment the first second is already gone which leaves us 13 seconds. they all work this way, you loose up to a second at startup

The minimum viable iteration of this build can be achieved at like lvl 12. All you really need is 15 reflex and 27 SC to buy that Sandevistan. Once you have that, you can buy 3 uncommon heatsinks from the Kabuki ripperdoc (he's hidden and not shown on the map initially). With 3 uncommon heatsinks, you have a 7s cooldown. With the rest of the game time, you can use resources to level Tech to raise crafting to craft upgraded versions of heatsinks to keep lowering the CD. But, in my opinion, 7s is already pretty busted. You can reach 7s -> 5.5s -> 4s -> 2.5s as you level-up crafting for better heatsinks.

If you put the epic cyber ware that slows time when you dodge and hold aim together, you get unlimited time slow lol as soon as the sandevistan runs out you can dodge to slow time again and once that runs out, the sandevistan is already ready to go again, and use the Dynalar mk3 instead of the legendary. It slows down time 50 percent, for more seconds, and has the same cooldown time It’s literally unstoppable with a blade build and makes you feel like a god 😂

@@Rennyyl the "kerenzikov" is what you're thinking of, and the problem is it slows time when you dodge, meaning you aren't moving freely you are dodging in a direction, also unless you have the perks that let you reload and shoot while dodging you can't do anything except slow-mo dodge.

Played a character with this Sandevistan of release but couldnt find a single legendary mod lol, at least I had ridiculous armor and a sniper gun.. but this Krenzikov idea is pretty revolutionizing, it's hard to fight MaxTac or whatever spawning in random places in x1 time xD I think optical camo is new.. or maybe I've just been blind. It's cool because this was basically my build before I even saw this .but Anyone else have the glitch where you sometimes can't trigger it in combat? Like keriznikov works but 3 sec isn't really optimal also the bio conductor doesn't really stack with heat sync I got three legendary heat syncs and it's still 2 seconds

That glitch has happened to me sometimes, I hoped it would have been fixed in 1.6 but I guess not. I’ll have to file a bug report. Also without the bioconductor the cooldown would be 3 seconds, not 2. The Bioconductor gives you that extra second of cooldown reduction.

Kerenzikov is broken. When you activate it, you're just as slow as everyone else so it's useless. Same bug occurs for the sandevistan if you change weapons by holding the alt button, or the Y button on the console while it's activated so, avoid them. The nano relays do work as intended and do give you 14 seconds. You have to keep in mind that 0 counts as a second. So, from 13 to 0 is 14 seconds. The cool down is actually 2.1 seconds, so you see the 2 for .1 seconds before it ticks 1. If it was exactly 2 seconds, then the countdown would start at 1. I'm just nitpicking. 😁 On a side note, use the mod: NeureSpec to reset your attribute and perk points to play around with different builds. There's no point in starting a new game to try out different builds.

My game bugged or something. Was running the 2nd best sandy until I got the best one for the 2 sec cool down. Bought it, set up some of the mods to reduce time. Got it to like 8 sec charge and everytime I use sandy nothing happens. In the top by my health is shows I activated it but time doesn't slow, it was incredibly annoying.

Like it would be so fucking fun to watch someone pop a Sandevistan and then magdump three magazines of a smart weapon and then seeing the time stop end and watching all the bullets you just fired all just Massacre the room in front of you....... like the biggest weakness of using the sand devastand is that it makes it hard to actually hit people with guns because the leading you have to do to actually hit the shots but smart weapons completely erase that weakness so I just really fucking want to see that shit man...

I've checked and that ripperdoc in Arryo doesn't have that legendary sandevistan mod (4sec cooldown reduction) crafting spec. I forwarded time a few times, saved and quit then went back in and tried, and also tried every other ripperdoc in the game, no joy. I also checked another character/save and it's the same story; very odd.

You need to level up your crafting skill before you can craft higher rarity Heatsinks. When you buy crafting specs it’ll only show the rarity you can currently craft (if you can craft rare crafting specs, it’ll show up as blue.)

You buy them from Wilson’s gun shop in your starting apartment’s Megabuilding. I think they were added in Patch 1.5.

But does bioconductor stack? I've seen some people saying it's not working as intended. And when would it be applied? If bioconductor is second place, then cooldown bonus is weakened by 1.2 seconds per heatsink.

So I bought the heatsink mod too early (less than legendary). Will I be able to buy it again as legendary from the Arroyo ripperdoc later when I put more into Crafting Ability or will I have to go through upgrading it myself via crafting?

It’ll automatically upgrade to legendary once you have Edgerunner Artisan and your Crafting skill is at level 18.

I have the Haming-8 rotor and the Sensory Amplifier for Health, although I think the Critical Damage one would be better if you were going to use your mantis blades consistently.
