All new standing and running rigging, plus Sails, bats, instruments, miscellaneous parts/pieces, repairs, and a lot of elbow grease should return a good boat. All boats have repair/replacement issues. It depends on the negotiated price and what you are willing to do or pay to have done. Weigh that against the price of a better example and its needs. Some of us have cash, others have Sweat (equity). If you have cash, go for a better well cared for boat.
