Your dimensions/sizes are based on the size project you're doing. If you want to end up with a square pillow that's 16" x 16" you'll have to start with at least double that because the fabric will be "shrunk" from the needle work So, at least start w/fabric 32" x 32" The markings look like they're 1" squares with a diagonal line every other square. The square sizes have to be whole numbers (i.e. 1"sq or 2" sq...). Measure out a small sample piece & start w/that to see if you like the spacing

Botta Umarani, thank you for sharing from the kindness of your heart to strangers, some of whom I must say had little to NO upbringing and unfortunately, probably have children of their own and have not taught them any better manners as well!. I want to take this time to thank you for sharing, I really do, and I hope that idiots like the (haters) Petrone Philip won't be the cause of any of us (lovers) who care to miss out on really well thought out videos like this one. Keep them coming, pleaz!
