If you are using the new Snowsight.. the warehouse (compute) comes under admin menu and you may not have access to it.. you can run a command called show warehouses;

yes.. you don't need to worry about a cloud charges and with snowflake account it comes free.. but if you host data separately in the cloud outside the snowflake, that will cost you.. The free trial edition is completely free for 30 days or 400$, whichever happens earlier.

1. if your organization is already using a cloud , then you would prefer to use that cloud environment, 2.or next if your team has awareness about a specific cloud environment, then select that. 3. or if confused, then choose AWS as all the latest features of snowflake are added to AWS first..and then applied to other cloud provider after few months.

Yes, this video was published last year and Snowflake is now promoting new WebUI and if you have created a free trial edition, you will not see the old WebUI. So you need to skip this chapter and go to next chapter that talks about Snowsight.
