I cured my son's dandruff with cassia obovata. Mix cassia with hot distilled water, let sit for 10 minutes, then apply to a freshly shampooed scalp (just shampoo, not conditioner). Massage in. You can also apply it to your hair, it will give it a beautiful shine. But make sure the scalp is completely covered. Cover with film or a plastic bag, and then with a scarf or hat. Let sit for one hour, then rinse with abundant water (no shampoo or conditioner). We repeat this once a month. If you don't like the smell of cassia, you can add a few drops of essential oils, but you don't need to add anything else to this (some of these recipes I'm seeing online are extremely complicated for no reason whatsoever.).
