Hey. Thanks for the informative video. But when my baby play with food. She doesn’t open mouth to eat. She end up playing and then start crying for godi. She doesn’t eat anything after that

You’re welcome :) no worries .. Here are some ideas: 1) eat few pieces from your baby’s plate.. they will follow you 2) show videos of babies eating food from plate or high chair. This might help :) 3) Most importantly, offer food when they are hungry ( not soon after milk/formula milk or snacks).. wait 45 minutes to an hour if they had milk/formula/snack. 4) Also, avoid when sleepy or soon after waking up. Hope this helps :)

Hii..she is adorable....bt its not because she started teething....around 8-9 months baby develope pincher hold meaning baby starts using fingers n thumb to pick up things....before that baby use her entire palm which is called palmer hold...so it's not related to teething....anything that can be mashed between our finger baby can chew it with her gums....fyi

Thanku, but please guide me what to do,my baby is 8 months old and she started teething,before that i gave her puree and she had it ,but now if i gave puree she refuse and if i offer some mashed food then she struggling with swallowing,if i allow her to eat herself she play and threw it away or if i try to feed her she never open mouth. Hi Simran :), no worries.. totally understand this 🥰 Try these tips: 1) offer when they are fully awake ( this means, not soon after waking up/ sleepy).. let them play for 5-10 minutes and try.. 2) not soon after milk/formula/ and avoid snack if meal time is within 30-45 minutes.. if you offer milk/formula, wait 30-45 minutes and then feed solids 3) texture of the food - as your baby is teething, offer grated or slightly mashed foods as some babies like textured meals ( not purées and fully mashed after teething) 4) this tip might work - show videos of babies eating themselves ( and help baby to pickup with their fingers and eat ) you can eat few pieces too :).. this will prevent them from playing with food :) 5) Encourage family meal times.. as they are going to watch and follow what we do :) Hope this helps 🥰

Try these tips- 1) important - do not feed when your baby is sleepy or soon after waking up. 2) wait 30-45 minutes after giving milk or formula.. 3) Avoid snacks an hour before meal times. 4) Show videos of babies eating food (picking and eating).. not mushing or throwing foods :) 5) Try family meal times.. they follow what we do ( share same meals like roti pieces, vegetable pieces, rice :) Hope this helps 🥰

Hi Afrin :), no worries.. try below tips: 1) offer fingerfood when your baby is fully awake ( not sleepy or soon after waking up) 2) wait 30-45 minutes after giving milk/formula milk as milk keeps them full for a long time. 3) do not give snacks/fruits/milk around meal times. 4) try family meal times .. babies copy what/how we eat. Try offering same food pieces you eat, they love to eat what we eat :) 5) you can try with small fruit pieces or vegetable pieces (soft/easy to chew), roti pieces, dosa pieces, pancake pieces, bread pieces or small pieces of potato cutlets. 6) this tip might work - show videos of babies eating food pieces ( they will follow).. very important: do not show babies squeezing or throwing foods 😄 Hope this helps 🥰

Hi Gunnjan :), During the starting week of finger foods, have both finger foods and puréed foods ready. If your baby eats less finger food or not interested in finger foods, you can give the puréed food. ( keep trying every day ) If your baby eats enough finger foods, you don’t have to feed the purée :)

Hi Nousheen :), I use coconut oil for baby’s hair ( 1-2 drops before bath only ) Yes, we trimmed her hair around 2 months :)

Hi Nousheen, Try the oats almond recipe..also give formula 1 or 2 times per day if you’re exclusively breastfeeding. Fish, chicken, meat recipes will also help with weight gain :)
