My portfolio for the past 30 years has always been self managed and I own 3 shares of Berkshire Hathaway Class A stock (BRK:A) which I bought in at about $17,000 during the mid 90s, I’m currently liquidating some of these positions to incoporate new Gen. Stocks, but am I better off re-investing into Gold as it seems stocks are a little too unstable right now.

While the mrkt may seem unpredictable, it's actually full of opportunities for those who understand it. If you're not a seasoned invstor, a simple strategy is to invst in established companies with a strong track record of earnings and hold onto them for the long haul. Alternatively, consider seeking advice from financial experts on (ETFs) and actively managed funds. Personally, I've seen a remarkable 4 1 8 % growth in just one yr under the guidance of a fin advisr.

I lost over $80k when everything started to tank. Not because I was in an exchange that went belly up. I was just stupid to hold and because that's what everyone said. I'm still responsible. It just taught me to be a better investor now that I understand more of what could go wrong. It took me over two years of being in the market, I'm really grateful I found one source to recover my money, at least $10k profits weekly. Thanks Michelle Stewart

I was advised to diversify my portfolio among several assets such as stocks and bonds since this can protect my inherited portfolio of about $2.5m. I’m used to just buying and holding assets which doesn’t seem applicable to the current rollercoaster market plus inflation is catching up with my portfolio. I’m really worried about survival after retirement.

True, I mostly just buy and hold stocks, but my portfolio has been mostly in the red for quite awhile now. Unfortunately to be able to make good gains, you’ll need to be consistent and restructure your portfolio frequently.

Agreed, After taking charge of my portfolio in early 2017, i stumbled into losses. Upon realizing that a change was necessary, I consulted a fiduciary advisor in 2020 and since then my 1.2m portfolio has gained 28% annually through restructuring and diversification using dividend equities, ETFs, mutual funds, and REITs.

Warren Buffett has a famous quote, that compares the market to batting in baseball. The general gist of the quote is like this. Wait for the right pitch: Buffett emphasizes being patient and selective, just like a batter waits for the perfect pitch to swing at. The stock market offers opportunities, but you don't have to invest in everything. Berkshire is cash heavy, waiting for the perfect pitch. It may seem like Buffett is old and not keeping up with the times. Instead, one should understand that if market valuations fall on good stocks, he is perfectly positioned to acquire good companies at a bargain price.

Purchasing a stock may seem straightforward, but selecting the correct stock without a proven strategy can be exceedingly challenging. I've been working on expanding my $210K portfolio for a while, and my primary obstacle is the lack of clear entry and exit strategies. Any advice on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Even with the right strategies and appropriate assets, investment returns can differ among investors. Recognizing the vital role of experience in investment success is crucial. Personally, I understood this significance and sought guidance from a market analyst, significantly growing my account to nearly a million. Strategically withdrawing profits just before the market correction, I'm now seizing buying opportunities once again.
