Hi Ma’am loved your simplification of the term TDS and it’s concepts and I’m a new subscriber. Doubts 1) if a bill / invoice has multiple heads for which TDS to be deducted, then how the process is? Eg: bill has both professional fee and contract heads then how the entry will be or settings in Tally would be? 2) suppose we haven’t done these settings and we were doing it manually all these times, then can we simply add the said details and implement now? If yes, will it effect from inception entries? Eg suppose the entries are from 01st April 2022 and TDS was deducted manually and now on 02nd January 2024 if I implement these changes in Tally settings, will it effect from 01st April 2022 or will it apply to only those entries entered after implementation of settings on 02nd January 2024? Love to hear your thoughts and advice on this. Once again Thank you so much for your initiative

I am using Tally from last 1 year. Done lot of research on how to create ledger and automatically compute TDS. First time (with lower TDS Certificate) after year, I can pass correct entry and automatically TDS computed. Couple of questions if you can answer: 1) Lower TDS Certificate rate is 0.01% - which create rounding off issue. How to round off TDS amount near to 1 rupee? 2) While recording journal entry Rent 300K, TDS -30K and Net Payable -270K, you used same invoice number in each line. Where as we mentioned in third line Invoice Number 300K and TDS_Aug23 -30K hence net payable -270K. At time of payment 270K, sometime we adjust 300K and -30K both and other time only 270K, which resulted in outstanding bill wise aging. Amount wise in B/sh value is Nil, however in aging report it shows outstanding amount. Not sure how to clear bill wise aging. Any advise?
