It's great that you're willing to try everything! As long as you make sure it's cooked and clean, you should give it a try.😊

I used to own a Boat Noodle shop, and yes, I also use pig blood for my soup. BUT, I'm not like other chef and cook out there...I boiled and stew the blood so much it becomes one with the soup. Then I don't need to add any raw blood in it. Too bad, I closed my shop down because I can't use my left hand anymore (Brain damaged). Best to enjoy these soup with fresh holy basil and Thai pork rind. Most of Thai Boat Noodle style noodle (and normal noodle shop) will add raw but clean pig blood to their soup, if you ask for Nahm Tohk. Anyway, hope you enjoy your time around the city or outside the city my friend!

My advice for foreigners, you should taste the soup before adding the condiments. Most Thai food has already a strong taste. PS. I'm impressed by the waitress who can speak and understand English 😀
You should try the soup first before adding condiments. Because every noodles shop has their own style and it can be salty or to sweet etc so please try it first and you don’t have to add everything. Just add condiments that’s make the soup fit your taste.

And i prefer you try to add chilies vinegar (the orange water in the glass bottle) it help to brighten the noodle soup

Did this dude just add additional condiments without tasting the broth first? All good please take no offense to that. I'm not korean but I am asian and had kimchi soup before. The reason I bring that up is korean restaurant or one of them food courts inside korean markets (in the Dallas texas area) never have condiments. When I get kimchi soup it either comes out just right to the flavor I'm looking for but when it's bland I am s.o.l. they don't have condiments to add any flavor. By the way I'll be in thailand in 2 weeks for the first time and I'm pretty sure I'm going to have trouble figuring out the bts myself. Can't wait for some boat noodles and khao soi. I don't vlog but I'll be looking out for youtubers and video bombing. In a respectful way of course.

Sugar not salt...Thailand not salt is seasoning in Noodles hahaha
Sweet Basil necessary for eat with Namtok Noodle. It’s not holy basil in Pad Kraprao.but the Thai-Sweet basil is the same ingredient in Green Curry (Keang Kheaw Wan).
