Must say both units are spectacular. Hard choice. That huge bedroom was unbelievable for Thailand. But having an extra room is more practical. Plus that balcony was awesome. I will tell you why number 1 is better Two bathrooms. A oven. The ability to watch tv from the kitchen. Bigger balcony. Extra room. Better view. Maybe even less bugs lol. That ground level is big central. Lastly. Less noise Really hard choices. Lastly your coworker is cute. But she’s no Miss Paeng 😘.

Miss Celine does a very good job in the videos in her English. She’s really well understand everything she’s got a great personality and really why your top agent I believe and she’s always happy. Think if I was choosing one of the townhouses or condos. I think I’ve picked the second one it just seemed like it had a little bit better finishing.

The unit seems to be bigger in size which for visitors would make a good first impression. I like that it's up on the seventh floor with a good view. I would need to make sure the internet is fast which is necessary for my work. Regarding staying fit. I walk 13K every other day and I only eat meat, eggs, fish and non-starchy vegetables. I lost 73 lbs, got off 7 medications, had the best blood test results ever and my mind is much sharper

How prone is the access road to the condo to flooding? Not talking about the once in a few years type floods - Chiangmailand Rd parallel to it regularly floods to knee level during heavy rain. Nice sized condos for the price.

You did not bleep that out sir! Hahaha that was very cute of her. The bird....poos. I do prefer the 1st one better. Not only can it be used as office space but I have a child so I would make that a actual bedroom for him. Also the kitchen is bigger (More space and I LOVE to cook). There is also two bathrooms easy no waiting for someone else to get done. The closet in the master is PLENTY enough. If you really need a office setup I'm sure you could find a small space in the master bedroom for it or possibly in the living room. Also that balcony! I can image on good days you could set up a good place to eat and enjoy the views (although I do personally like the green views better). =)

That first unit with the large kitchen with a large oven had me sold since I had not seen many with an oven and I bake my bread so that would do great! The space is amazing but you guys showed no amenities! is there a gym and a pool and that would be awesome and for me the concern of high speed internet for working online, That is a concern for most foreigners and thus my interest in Bangkok! So my recommendation is to always talk about the area to shopping the ability and cost to get high speed internet and then amenities is of the main concerns! Great video!

With that being said I'll be coming in the low season so the price range I'm looking for is $500- $600 dollars. I prefer the older buildings like the one you featured in this video because of the size they offer. What I would like to have is a two bedroom with a walk-in heated shower, a balcony with a great view, an oven but if not it's ok not a deal breaker and finally in a great location easily accessible to mall and street food vendors.

I prefer condo #1. Even though I did not see hot water in the bathroom, which would be a deal breaker for me, and the shower head is draped instead of being on the wall, it has an oven, which you rarely see in Asia. I would love a tub, but who wants to take a cold bath? I like the bonus room, and the larger balcony. I would rather be on a higher floor. The second unit is too close to the road and I do not need a big bedroom like that.

@@perfecthomeschiangmai This was actually the second time I watched this video. I shared with my first viewing I liked the first condo best. I have been to Thailand 30 times since 2005 and I am in love with the country and culture. My base city has been Chiang Mai but most of my time was spent in remote mountain villages supporting Thai Nationals who with Ethnic Minority Hilltribe refugees and orphans. I had to stop in 2019 to care for my mother who was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. She’s now in memory care. I’m now caring for my 91 y/o second cousin. My long-term desire is to retire in Chiang Mai so once my responsibilities end here in the US, I will most likely move. I enjoy watching these types of videos to see what’s happening in the market. By the way….I think Celine is 23 not 39. If she is 39, I wouldn’t be shocked because I’ve learned Thai girls age very well.

Honestly that first one seems a lot bigger than 800 sq feet ish. Older building definitely get way more space Unbelievable value for like 400 quid a month

That first unit really does seem spacious for around 800 square feet, and the value at approximately £400 a month is hard to beat! Is having that extra space one of your main priorities, or do you focus more on location or amenities when choosing a place? 😊

As for your question I do typically prioritise space over amenities or even location ( within reason) I mean these ultra modern mega projects tend to have incredible flashy lobbies and common areas, fancy gyms and Instagram perfect infinity pools etc. But obviously that comes at a price and that price is often a lot of units and typically 300 sq feet ish or even less. And how often to you actually use the facilities? The pool once in a while but I never went in the co working space after seeing it let alone the golf simulator or wine room. Spent most of my time in an upscale rabbit hutch paying for facilities I almost never used. So yeah these days I'm all about older properties with more space.

Plus, you can use the extra space for things that truly matter to you-whether that’s a home office, a workout area, or just more room to breathe.
