I have been smiling since you mentioned the lamp. We just on Saturday went through the same process, including the back and forth for parts at Lowes. The lamp turned out beautiful, as did yours. As you said, not a beginner project. My hubby said, "Please don't ever ask me to do another. Also agr we have so much time and money into that silly chicken we could never recoup the cost. 😅😅 But, oh how I love it setting on my bar between kitchen and dining room. Yes, you gave me the idea when you started yours. My chicken is ceramic, though, and I've had it about 16 years. The chicken is white with blue flowers as my kitchen is done in blue, white with touches of yellow. Thanks for sharing. Please tell James he is amazing just like my Curt. Love and ejoy you both.

Hey, just a quick note. I saw online where there is a WARNING: about keeping clear water bottles with water in them in your vehicles. The magnification of the sun going through the water can cause a fire in your vehicle! Oops! I do this a lot. For more info, just Google water bottles causing fires in cars. Good morning, you could use one of the doilies to put in the drawer of that little chest in your armoire❤ I think it was in a couple of videos back when you did a it bedroom tour. I can see if you don’t want to hide them though😊 I favor the white cotton ones with the lace around them and the embroidery in the middle, but I have those also. I remember those vanity mirrors. Lamp is a winner. The washer isn’t really noticeable. I don’t think I would of picked up on it unless you mentioning…..🤔😊. The pillow haul was perfect. I think if you want a single can of Sprayway, Walmart has them for around $2.50 I believe in stead of $4.

you can make your own weed killer for pennies and it is safe ! 1gal of vineger 1cup salt and 1 tablespoon Dawn dish soap ! put it in a sprayer and use it when the sun is HOT ! Works very well !

I just love them as well. Thrift finds styled perfectly. Love the doilies and little candle lamp on stove top. I knew the pillows were going in your room (that’s where I would have placed as well). They look beautiful. The garage is looking wonderful with all the cabinetry. Love the bead board accents. I think your idea of having a small shop or stand sounds awesome. Your eye for finds is amazing and James woodwork and eye for custom finishes would be perfect together. I would personally love those wooden initials for our Christmas stockings. Wow! I love the thrift haul. The picture is so beautiful. I got a big “live edge” lazy susan and took the little bottom off so it wouldn’t turn then put it on my old ice box to decorate. I’ve done and redone it and I’m stuck on how to style it. I agree, you’d do great with a booth, you have so much talent to flip things or just resell some of your finds. I’d definitely visit your booth if I’d live down there. Oh my goodness, that chicken lamp is gorgeous, I love the shade and how it all goes together. ❤️
