I have a confession to make... I brought Haaland back today. Still got Palmer, Salah, Isak, Gordon, Sarr, an Arsenal def along with Munoz Robinson Hall. Sold TAA and Watkins to fund it so I guess there is not a huge downside for me. Got a big team value and a lot of it is 'realisable' aka not just a mil tied up in a player I'm never going to sell. No Mbeumo and I can't see myself upgrading Pedro are the only downsides I think, but would be interested in anyone's thoughts ...

I was in a similar position to you with Gvardiol, city hasent impressed even against two of the lesser sides in the league. So I sold him to Mykolenko (to prepare for the 2x) and fund Rogers to Gordon. Now im looking to roll until GW24/25 where im looking to free up 1.5 to get Slot as my 3rd Liverpool asset for the DGW.

Congrats on the Palmer captain, well deserved!! I have a similar dilemma this week too on Jackson My midfield is already Salah, Palmer, Gordon, Bruno and Semenyo so I was initially going to do Semenyo to sarr. But now jackson to mateta seems like a better route to palace attack whilst also freeing up funds. Also really considering benching Gabriel and playing Robinson. Too many decisions this week, thoughts?

Thank you very much. I think it’s fine to bench Gabriel. Spurs aren’t good at defending set pieces which is important, so in most cases I’m playing him.

I never saw that Amorim would have change so much in this system and it will work so well against LFC. Great call on Palmer (C) but I start to get a bit of HOMO against Salah (I didn’t captain him twice, against Newcastle and West Ham so it hurts)

For next week I have a few dillemmas. Firstly, I have 1FT so can either do Mbuemo to Gordon or Watkins to Mateta. Secondly, i plan on benching my forest defenders this week yet have to play either robinson away to west ham or colwill home to Bournemouth. What does it mean when you say high ceiling?

The player has the realistic capability of scoring a lot of points. Caicedo has a low ceiling. He doesn’t shoot much, doesn’t play many “assist like” passes, plays far away from the opposition goal, and his main job is a defensive, not offensive one. It’s unrealistic that he gets a 15 pointer, or even a 10 pointer, therefore he has a low ceiling. Salah has a high ceiling. He shoots a lot, he’s got good ball striking, good finishing, he has penalties, he accumulates a lot of chances, he makes chances for himself, he’s brilliant on transition, he plays close enough to the goal. It’s realistic for him to achieve a 15 pointer, and he’s capable of going beyond that (21 pointer for example), as he has so many realistic routes to points.
