So do we have to put 20 ft 3 inch pipe or 10 feet is okay? Also by using this much high pressure does sand start moving to collapse at 20-40 ft?

I love videos like this. Wish we could access shallow wells all our are 275 to 300 ft down despite an elevation of 130 ft above SL. Wanted to try this for a while though

How do you know how long of a Sandpoint you have to put in? If you do a shower well, if you could let me know that would be great in Minnesota

Curious whereabouts in florida you are. I'm over on the spacecoast. We have a high suffer content in our water around here. As a kid we drank it and didn't think anything about it. Some areas are now suffering from salt water intrusion. That will ruin a well. I would like to have an artesian well like my neighbors, but that requires going about 200 feet deep.

Can you also cut trenches for drain pipes using a normal household pressure washer?

Hey, been watching your videos for quite some time. I have a mud pump and would like to try to dig a well, only problem is that I need the well in europe, and the pvc that they have readily available connects with press fit gaskets instead of glue. I have been thinking if it would be possible to drill with a pex pipe that I would straigten and use as the drill. Do you think it would work?

Thank you for such great videos! Question: can I install two well points in different locations and connect them both to one pump? Thanks.

How do you get the water up if you don’t have a foot value at the bottom? Found the old well pipe I can hear water when to drop a weight with fishing line but can’t get the water to suck up. Thanks
@scottmayer3111 Жыл бұрын
What if we modify our approach to digging by using a larger 3-inch trash pump instead of a 2-inch one? We can then connect a 2-inch PVC digging tube to the pump, while finding a way to incorporate the existing 1-inch suction tube within the setup.

So I, trying the mini jetter. I’m in all Sandy soil. I got the 10’ 4” pipe down as my guide. Im trying to drive my 2” pipe down with the jetter and it’s fighting me a lot. Im down 15 feet and even with the jetter going it won’t go anymore. It’s ejecting sand from the pipe but just won’t go anymore. Maybe my technique is wrong? Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks and love your videos!

What psi pressure washer?
@pede88893 ай бұрын
Running sand is a drillers worst nightmare. What's happening is the sand is liquidising and then just filling the borehole constantly. You are flushing out new sand constantly and making no new depth. There are old school driller tricks that can be used.@@josephkainer9478

Wouldn't it work better and well last longer if the outer casing were filled with gravel to above well point? Then fill remainder with grout. Keeps the well point from clogging and sediment collecting in bottom of point.

I’ve tried 3 different times with this same setup in central Florida. I get 23’ deep and then it’s hitting something SOLID. I see you’re just barely twisting it.. what am I doing wrong?

How do i know where to drill to get water? I live in a subdivision, do i need a permit from my county or subdivision before I drill? Thanks for the info. ❤

Hello chuck, been watching all your videos on the wells, so do you leave the 2 inch in or take it out?

Chuck, your approach to boring a well is far ahead of other methods, I want to do this in the Philippines as water is on and off but mostly off, I utilize tank water off the roof by means of a first flush cleaning system to help. I am not sure if i can get the sort of mud pump you are using, online selling have agriculture pumps. But not sure if the same, I would preferably use an electric style pump if possible as not to draw attention to what I am doing, have you heard of electric style mud pumps that could perform like the one you got, thanks for your previous replies

I looked up a harbour freight pump, 2 inch they call it a semi trash pump predator 158 GPM, is that what you were using? I am just trying to compare for what I can get in the Philippines

@@appledrains Hi Chuck what is the deepest that you can go with this type of water drilling? I would like to go 60 to 80 feet. I am sure the water is shallower due to the sage brush I have growing and has been with me for a few years now. Please help me I really need to get away from the crappy community well I have been forced to use for the last 11 years.

I've done this before. If it's a large rock, you need to move. But it will push a lot of the other rocks out of the way

Hi there, thanks for the video. Here in Utah the government has decided that water is a gift to the state from the Heavenly Father. Problem is that he took my water rights and charges me over $100 a month for basic water needs. I am limited to a shallow well of no more than 30’ without water rights . I used technology from sources like you and used a pressure washer rig and jetted out a shallow well (in progress) My soil is packed clay. I have jetted out “4 pipe down 20’ Past couple days the water level in the shaft is 64” below surface . My question is - I’m currently using a 1” pipe to jet out the last 10’ or so, then I’ll flush the well to try and get as much sediment out as possible, then put the well point 48” and check valve, on 1” up to surface . How can best deal with the slow replenishment rate (assumed due to clay soil) I thinking a pump to a tank, then a tank to the irrigation system. It’s mid August here in Utah and I’m in the center valley, my house has sump pumps that are wet currently . So we have water down there, but it’s not sand.
