2 ways to make your topper REALISTIC! Hair topper tips.
In this video I show how my thinning can be incorporated in my hair topper to make it look more realistic. I show two ways. One with no hair product and one with tinted dry shampoo. Thanks for the tips! That first method looks super cute! I’ll have to try that sometime! I used to use that Bumble & Bumble spray that you showed and I agree it’s probably the best. However, I recently I found one at Walmart of all places that works pretty good. It’s called COLAB + Dark Corrector. (I have dark hair but they probably have one for lighter hair as well.) It’s so much more affordable. I haven’t purchased the topper yet but I’m getting closer. Thanks again for your videos. They’re very helpful!

Thank you. I’ve been thinning awhile, but more noticeable. I went for a consult this week and have been really struggling. $9000 for hair transplant, which looks so painful and isn’t guaranteed. I don’t want to go bald, but I’ve been thinking a lot that maybe wigs or hairpieces would be better for me than a transplant. You look great, and this was so encouraging to watch.

Hi there, thanks so much for your comment! I feel your struggle! I have looked into hair transplants too and there are so may things to consider! My opinion is that a hair transplant may be the right decision for you but regardless getting a hair topper first will be a good decision. It will help you to make a decision on whether a transplant is something you want. You may decide that toppers are the way to go for you or you may decide that the topper is not enough for you and you want to try to have coverage that is your own hair. One tip......go to Uniwigs to buy your topper! You will get the best product and have a great selection! I wish you the best as you find something that works for you!!

I don't spray my scalp as the topper covers it but I do smudge Batiste hide me root concealer around my hairline and sides it comes in a solid powder with a brush and lasts forever also if I were you I would buy a lace front so the hairline is more gradual. Very much enjoying your videos most helpful 🩷

Thanks for mentioning the Batiste root concealer. I’ve never heard of it only the dry shampoo by that brand. I’ll have to check it out!

How did you find out what was wrong with your scalp? Was it itchy or hormones? 💕

Hi there, Thanks for your comment! I took blood tests which told me very little. I then went to a naturopath who ordered a male hormone panel test. This test sowed my elevated dihydrotestosterone (DHT) level. This helped me so much to get to stop buying shampoos and supplements claiming to help hair loss. Until I can do something about my hormones, very little will help. I am currently taking spironolactone. This drug helps to lower DHT. I have been taking it for 6 months and it can take up to a year to show results. SO stay tuned for updates!
