A very helpful tips 👏... That's the way we do it. Another way, you can also use hot water to kill the weevils and just pour into the sink. Thanks for sharing sis👍

Tips start at around 6:00 mark. I still dey wonder how stores back in Africa prevent weevils as they are hardly any when I go buy from the stores. Whenever I harvest it is a disaster, great tips though.
@obinnaokoye93603 ай бұрын
Stores in Nigeria use Aluminium phosphide to as preservatives to preserve their grains, legumes and seeds, and you also don't see it cos they sell out so fast that the weevils doesn't have enough time to work their magic. Aluminium phosphide, is very toxic when ingested or inhaled for long periods, so wash your grains, legumes and seeds with plenty of water before you start cooking.

I appreciate your video. I watched your process, but it was difficult to understand you because the music in the background was interfering with hearing you speak. So much loud music is not necessary. It can be frustrating when your trying to hear a speaker. Thank you for showing the process. I could not hear you talk about the powder in the bag. What was that powder? I plan to start ordering green coffee beans and I would like to use your method.
@AdorableKitchen Жыл бұрын
I'm sorry that the music was interfering with you hearing what I was saying and, I believe you, it can be really annoying. I appreciate the manner you communicated it to me. I have already worked on that in my recent videos. The white powders are the dusts and residues the weevils left behind after eating up the beans.

Mannerless comment. I know this your comment is a year old but time does not make the stupidity of it any less appalling. Is there a fake beans in the market? Weevils affects all species of beans except when you chemically preserve the beans, which is more dangerous health.
