Stacey, take it slow. Studies show that it takes 2 years for women to get back to stability! It's not just old wifes tales. There is science backing up cuatentena. Take it slow and trust that even if doesn't get done, God will still take care of your family. I'm just freshly postpartum too so believe it it was SO hard for me!! I hated it, but I'm glad. My body needed to heal.

This!!!! Whether you know about curatentena o no, it’s very important to allow your body to heal. Rest, rest, rest is imperative and many PP moms abuse of their body bc they feel good. Makes me so sad and mad at the same time. Only bc I care too much 😔

Hi love, I say this from the most genuine place in my heart. Try not to take your baby out so little. Im a mom of 2 and they are so sick right now. I have no idea how they got sick but the flu got them and its BAD! They are struggling and its already day 4. Stay home with him to prevent any germs getting him sick ❤

That bleeding is your body telling you to rest. Your body is trying to heal a wound inside your body that is the size of a dinner plate. Your womb has a wound the size of your placenta and you need to allow it to heal. Trust me I know it’s hard to stay put (I’m also a second time mom) but pushing your body too hard will slow down your healing as you put strain on that wound and your pelvic floor.

4:09 something my doctor told me is have your child eat what you’re eating. As a mother we worry and offer them their comfort food but that just shows them that you will give them their comfort food no matter what and they don’t need to eat the food you’re eating. Honestly I’ve followed that and haven’t had the need to feed my baby a “kid friendly” meals 🤷🏻♀️ but to each their own

I feel you 😭 My 4 year old doesn't like many foods so I've had to figure out how to include veggies and protein into his meals. I make him chicken nuggets, sopita, ground beef/chicken quesadillas and smoothies. Also blending veggies into the pasta sauce when I make spaghetti is a life saver👌🏻 and then I have my two year old that eats everything I give her lol

A better alternative for chicken nuggets, buy the chicken breast, cut them in squares. Season them and then throw them in your air fryer till they are nice and crispy and just add ur side of sauce bbq or ranch on the side with some carrots 🥕

I usually feed my daughter what I eat. Or there are foods I make specifically for her, I make big pots and freeze them in meal portions, like lentils or picadillo. That way if I cook something she can’t have I don’t stress because I have backup food.

I asked our pediatrician about what she would recommend since I had to take my oldest to school as soon as we went home with baby and she said not to worry about it and go about our life. As long as people are not in baby’s face or touching him it’s good for you and baby to get out. I started walking around the block a week after my c-section and it sped up recovery. It’s nice to be home and pampered but not necessary for your body to heal. Don’t give him an option. You’re going to struggle to get him off the nuggets after. Kids are picky and will eat tiny quantities at a time, but keep offering him what you’re eating.

A baby also needs to be inside for 40 days as much as they can its not just for the mom. A baby cant drink medication until they are 2 months so exposing him to the world right now especially during the flu season is not a good idea. Im not trying to tell you what to do but I think its best for you to rest with the baby at home while your husband runs the errands.
