Here is another pro tip. You can put both of the same colour wires together into the terminal, that way you don't have to worry about the loose wires touching and shorting out.

Hi there. Thank You for video. Maybe you can help me out. Sometimes I have to adjust temperature for 4 wire system. If temperature is too high I connect potentiometer parallel between red and white and I can lower temperature reading. Please tell me how to do this when temperature is too low and I want it to be higher. Tried various configurations but no success. Thanks

Go to the RTD manufacturers product catalog where you can locate the proper RTD version to meet the temperature range for your application.
