There's not a lot of iOS engineer doing those kind of videos, let alone black ones so you get a new follower as a fellow black iOS engineer

hii! Some of my recommendations are: - keep working on side projects to build your portfolio and your skills, i recommend putting those up on github or any site similar to github - amp up on leetcode/interview questions for when the time comes to interview! - make sure your resume fits the jobs you're applying for, when I applied for iOS Engineer positions I had to make sure my skills and details related to those positions (i.e swift, Xcode, iOS frameworks like UIKit and SwiftUI) - i found my current job on LinkedIn using the job postings posted on there, I don't know if that will help but if you aren't already, def use it. Also! Build connections on linkedIn because connections go soooo far - i get easily distracted so i somewhat relate; take breaks when watching tutorials, the pomodoro method usually works wonders for me AND also challenge yourself to step away from tutorials to build projects without them, even if you need to refer to them after a bit of trying keep applying! the tech job market is pretty rough right now so do not think it's just you or that you aren't good enough! I believe in the power of prayer so of course I recommend praying on it but if you don't then just remain hopeful and keep coding, you got this!! I'm here if you have anymore questions, I'm rooting for you 🤍
