this kiddo is amazing, reminds me of my father, he can multiply any two digits under 1000 in his head instantly, I strived to do it and could do it for a little bit mostly up to one three-digit numbers max but I struggled with certain numbers and never understood how my father could do it so quick even quicker than a calculator input sometimes, I could never be like my father (who by the way was a former military helicopter pilot and does programming for at least the last 40-50 years)

It’s actually very rare that a two year old can do that. I am an Indian Teacher and no kids can’t do that at the age of 2. They learn this kind of maths in class 1 or 2 with is 6/7 years of age.

​@thateacherslife stop it. I would get the belt if I couldn't do this. Yes, it started at 2-3. I had to memorize them up all the way to 20 tables. Now of course, the 20's was by age 6 or so. But yes, we were forced to memoeize this stuff.

@@the.psychdiary I don't know if the standard has gone down in India as I left it for US long time back. But when I was a kid, we were not only doing regular multiplication table but also .25, 1.25, 1.5, 2.5 tables. BTW I'm from Maharashtra. Kids at that age are like sponge and pick up whatever you teach them. I taught my son, alphabets and numbers and he could recognize them all when he was one year old. He wasn't even talking then but was able to point them correctly. Didn't think of trying out AGT for him then 🙂

When I taught primary grade school in the U.S.A. kids were introduced to multiplication in 3rd grade (around 8 years old). This 2-year-old has already mastered two-digit multiplication. Brilliant and adorable! Kudos to his parents. 🥰😍🤩❤

Genuinely impressive, and also quite well spoken for a two-year-old. I had to take a moment to work out the last one and was very surprised it was correct, I was a relatively intelligent child too (more linguistically than numerically) but I wasn't close to this level. I hope he grows up healthy and happy and is not unduly burdened by others' expectations of future success. That's the best I can wish for him.
