Not every idea/product is the next Google or Amazon or Netflix. Don't listen to the cheerleading trying to get you to work 60+ hours a week and/or giving you worthless stock options in the hope that their product will take off. Protect your work/life balance and your sanity.

1 absolut important thing I learned is the MVP method Minimal Viable product. One of the most important things you need for any business is "feedback". code the least amount for your software and bring it out to potential customer and with their feedback you analyse what is wished for and what is completely none used. it sound logic but in reality most tech comps dont do it like that in the beginning and try to make something perfect... there is no perfection!

Oh was wondering what happened to the sports app 😅 I've been in the same boat. Literally the only time the downloads grow is when I advertize the app. So it's not necessarily that the idea was bad.
@user-fq7jf6cp9pАй бұрын
Validation of an idea is super important. I built an app without Validation and there is a high chance it will not be used because I didn't validate it. I don't care that much tbh since I built it while learning a new tech stack for me 🤷♂️

Yeah this definitely highlights how important the ‘planning’ stage really is and that we as programmers love to dive right into the code and should maybe spend more time planning carefully and coming up with well a multitude of ideas that don’t necessarily have to be in high demand but definitely have some worth and value in our every day lives. Nevertheless I’m sure that was very valuable experience, and it will definitely guide you to overcome similar problems for next time.
