2 years on... Actor Bait Boat Review

In this video Foxy and Wayne discuss the Actor bait boat after 2 years of using the product.

I’ve got the same boat and very happy with it apart from it isn’t charging up correctly as in it’s taken up to 20 odd hours to charge it up to 80%. Only had it 6 months and still under guarantee but the boatman wasn’t helpful at all and wanted £35 to look at it.

That’s frustrating mate but that sounds like an issue with the battery to me. New battery and I bet it’s sorted.

Sounds like the battery. They can get well moody as they wear out.

great bit of kit, i bought the same boats but with 2 10ah battery's last year and had no problem at all with it, rarely use the second battery but nice to have a backup. Just not as dirty as this one =D

Just bought this boat, camo with 10ah battery and deeper chirp +2, what a game changer, the bait mix we use me and my mate smashes every water we fish, love watching those £1000 boats with all the gear blank when we bag up ! Money cant buy you fish, learn how carp react to other fish feeding hint hint !

I use mine for deadbaiting for pike, putting the deadbait in the centre hopper with free offerings and the 3oz running lead in the back keeping the braid out of the props way... I had an issue with the deads trebles occasionally getting hung up on the lip at the bottom of the hopper, necessitating reeling in the boat and re-setting.... I fixed this by blending the lip away using some car body repair "bondo" sanding & painting it with black nail varnish to match. The girl in the chemists did give this 65y.o. a funny look at the time !!... 😂 😎👍☘️🍺

Some disolve foam around the hooks would of been easier, you just give a asprine a headache mate !

I do like my Actor, although I do not use it often. I have a slight issue with the boat veering when returning to the bank. I believe it is due to the flap dropping to one side after dropping bait, it the acts as a rudder. Give your boat a clean.😂

I agree, the back door is catching waves if its a bit choppy and/or the wind can catch it... not much we can do about that... battery position is of course important too... 😎👍☘️🍺

Im a bit concerned with having the rig in the middle of a boat. Some say it gets caught in the propellers. Is that true? Do you have weed guards on the propellers?

Instead of putting your rig up through the bottom couldn't you put it in the back part

Yeah you can stick it in the back section but it’s on a slant so more risk of tangles etc also doesn’t hold as much bait as the middle hopper

I bought mine after watching your original review. Nice bit of kit and hasn't let me down so far. Hats off to OMR for cleaning his boat on the bank, I do the same, and you two should be ashamed 🤪😂

It’s nothing like that at all and we’re still on great terms with Parker Baits and we highly rate their bait and continue to do comps for it. We used DNA long before PB and it just made sense for us. Again this video was put together because we get lots of questions how it’s getting on after our original review. Tight lines Paul 👍
