I mean, with radar you can realistically shoot something you cant see, but then again it's UAD we're talking about, it's nothing close to realistic despite of the devs wishes Also, I've heard that the barrel lenght is supposed to be calculated by taking the bore of the gun and multiplying it by the calibre, so in this case a 2"/75 would have a barrel length of 150 inches damn Also I hears from a friend of mine that his guns is able to go to 70 cals, lonk

I recently completed a playthrough as the US from 1920-1950, and I built whats essentially a Des Moines heavy cruiser with 10 inch guns that could mop the floor with any battleships it came across. Of course, I mass produced them and had them in groups of two at minimum, but 2 of those bad boys and another 2-4 light cruisers usually had me wiping out a superior force in terms of tonnage AND numbers.

Why do I keep hearing the them from the Six Million dollar man in my head? Gentleman, we have the technology. We have the capability to make the greatest sniper ship. Better than ever before. Better... stronger... faster ... bigger guns! OH .. and it was the CA Leon Gametta that got that torp hit .. you can see they did 14K damage (everone else did 0 or just 10). They also had 60% torpedo accuracy. So that CA with the 22 inch torps did the damage. Easy to see.

The Titans still have a pretty bad aft weight offset, which might screw with your accuracy, maybe take the aft main gun off its barbette in a refit?

Yeah stealth, the hull bottom does no where near as much protection as the anti torp belt, meaning anti torp 2 really isnt going to do anything even with a triple bottom

Heard you say you were waiting for the mod to update so you can record again. As a little tip you can copy the uad folder to your desktop or any other location put the mod in there and launch the game through the copied folder. That way you wont have to worry about the game updating ruining mod compability til the mod updates. Did this myself it works.

So does the mod you use make the game better in your opinion? I stopped playing this game myself because my ships would never hit the enemy and would always run out of ammo or fuel which was annoying. Also, did the campaign battles get fixed? I remember having my fleets at a certain area to defend or I would personally take a fleet and put it on top of an enemy fleet to attack it but the game decided what ships and fleets attacked or defended randomly which was dumb. Is that fixed also? Sorry for the 2 loaded questions. Other then that great video. You make this game look hella fun to play.

I recall you doing a single barrel, large caliber setup before and it working less effectively than dual barrels. The accuracy and reload speed increase wasn't enough to offset firing half the amount of shots. But that was many patches ago, and things might have shifted favorably for the single barrel. Then again, I don't know of a hull besides the German Super Battleship III that can handle 3 dual 20in guns without effectively becoming a barge.

Ship building in this game is wack as hell. Try to build anything resembling a normal ship and it gets stomped against the AI creations of 19 18 Inch guns on a 30,000 ton battleship with 100kt speeds and 32 inches of armor...somehow. Then somehow the AI ships still get 98% accuracy while my ships cant hit 10% of their shots and only cause damage on about half the shots that do hit. Unless this game managed to change itself and reign in some of the obsurdity......

42% of this video is just you designing a ship. While it can be interesting to hear thoughts on ship design ect. I feel it is tedious that such a large extent of these series are just you designing ships. It is almost every video that you design a new ship. I think you lack a lot of actual gameplay.
