It's amazing these gigantic abandoned buildings were once a bustling place. And it was somebody's job to be there every day. But no more. Several others to visit in PA are Greenwood furnace and Thousand Steps in Huntingdon County. Bird Rock in Reedsville, Mifflin County. But this isn't an abandoned place, it's a natuaral feature of the mountain.

A little bit of commentary, even just a little, would helps us viewers relate with the emotions being projected. Anyway, I live in south central Pennsylvania. The east broad top railroad, centralized in orbisonia, has abandoned buildings that run the whole length, and a tunnel. But is also under new ownership who plans to get a big part up and running again. They will blast the tunnel open. You may not have much time left to check it out. Also, the thousand steps between mapleton and mount union has an old abandoned building at the top. There are many more in huntingdon County also. I live like 20 minutes from breezewood and the old turnpike. And have been to most of the places you featured. Right now I'm working in ohiopyle, where they have the natural water slide.

I find going to the Abandoned Pa Turnpike is best done at the end of March or early April. Before the leaves grow on the trees. It feels more open and is easier to explore. I was there in March 2013. This video appears to show Sideling Hill Tunnel only a few months 9r even a few weeks later. The graffiti is the same as it was then and I could spot the Abgry Birds painted not to far inside the right hand side of the tunnel. My video is ony channel of my trips I've taken there.
