Here's 20 Small Details in Bully (Canis Canem Edit)... Like every other game made by Rockstar, Bully is full of detail and holds up extremely well 15yrs on from it's release. Now I must admit, prior to making this video I had never played this game long enough to know why it was loved by so many, but having now spent countless hours in the town of Bullworth, I can say that I understand it completely!

Bully (Canis Canem Edit) is an action-adventure video game developed by Rockstar Vancouver and published by Rockstar Games. The game is played from a third-person perspective and its open world is navigated on foot, skateboard, scooter, bicycle, or go-kart. Set in the fictional town of Bullworth, the single-player story follows juvenile delinquent student James "Jimmy" Hopkins, who is involuntarily enrolled at Bullworth Academy for a year, and his efforts to rise through the ranks of the school system in order to put a stop to bullying.

I had so many people request that I cover this game over the years and tbh I almost did back in 2019 but for some reason never got past the prologue and just lost interest. 2yrs on though I have returned to see what details I can find & why exactly this game is loved by so many. Now after countless hours playing I completely understand it's popularity... Its unique, charming, well written & full of detail. Seriously regret not playing it sooner! Hope you enjoy :)

You can go to class to enhance your skills, pick fights with the many cliques of the school, pull pranks on other students and many more. The game is divided in chapters (Like rdr 2) and each chapter takes place at a different season, so even if the map is small, it changes a bit + you unlock new areas with every chapters.

You can stick a "Kick me" sign on someone's back so every NPC that sees it will attack him (Also works on Adults) You can lit a fire work that will attract students before exploding You can throw itching powder at your for to incapacitate then You can stuff people in trash bins And many more. Classes are just here to make the game more immersive and grant you more skills. If a prefect founds you outside of class during class time he will try to force you to go to class There's no honor system, if you get busted for being a naughty boy you lose all of the weapons you currently have on you, if you get busted 3 times you are forced to detention (As seen in the video)

Another detail If you stay up past midnight jimmy will visibly get tired and the music will slow down. If you don't make it into to bed on time jimmy will pass out, one time I passed out in the middle of the street and when I woke up my shoes were gone😂 I truly love this game thinks for covering it and I would love to see a pt2✌️💖 (Edit) woah! -Not only you can start food fight, you can also start snowball fight during Winter, by interacting the ground that covered in snow to form a snowball and throw it to random people. -After you finished an errand where you throw water balloon, you're no longer be able to drink in drinking fountain, but the interaction was replaced to making water balloon instead. -When Jimmy in forbidden area, his walk movement/stance changed to sneak/stealth. -If Jimmy didn't go to sleep until 1 am, the interface will change to reflect his exhaustion, and by 2 am, he will passed out in the spot. If he passes up, he may wakes up in his underwear or missing ammunition for some of his inventory weapons. -After you lockpicked a locker, you can use said locker as another hiding spot. (Except the one in the gym of course lol) -You can kick a soccer ball. -If you didn't wear helmet when riding a moped, the authorities (cop/prefect) will try to catch you. -There's a unique ability if you wear a mascot suit. You can do mascot dance, which is a set of button prompts like the one in Chemistry classes. -Different cutscenes when everytime you got sent to Principal office for the third time. -NPCs wear their Winter outfit during Winter. -Some students can be seen walking around carrying a book. Jimmy can also carry a book if he got one. -The bulletin board updates after certain story missions. Not only filled with game guides, but also interesting notes from certain characters. -Some students wear costumes during Halloween (and there are decorations as well) -Snow starts falling during Jimmy's last mission in chapter 2 before chapter 3 (which takes place during Winter). -The bike you working on during Shop classes is actually the fastest bike ingame that you will unlock after completing the last Shop class. (Scholarship Edition and Anniversary Edition only-detail) -Yes, you can eat banana. And you can throw the peel and watch as an NPC slipped from it.

I really think Bully may be the perfect IP to fully present what Next-gen gaming should look like. Bully doesn't require unnecessary enormous open world, but only highly detailed school and some small near by territories which allows devs to focus even more on interactions/physics/npcs. Imagine every effort that would have gotten into locations where we hardly even explore is all focused in school only where 90% of gameplay is done. No fetch quests, meaningless collectibles, some random dialogues which is there only for sole purpose to 'be there' to make 'open world game-ish'. I really hope Rockstar will look back to Bully and decides to make a quality sequel.

If they are making Bully 2, they should make realistic snow melting during one chapter and being heavy. Something like RDR2 temperatures but more realistic in The Sims 2-3 Seasons level. Too much outside without proper outfits drains health and wearing proper clothes for hours keep you warm till being cold again. Same with summer but you pass out for wearing warm outfit spawning in hospital and wearing normal outfit drains your health very slowly for being exposed on hot temperatures for too long (and getting red on the skin leads into being little tanned for days) and only way to keep it off is drinking water and eating ice-cream.

Bully is the only fictional school story that has several kind of uniform design that kinda mix between Western & Asian schools pattern. Every student & every clique are wearing a different kind of uniform which some of them are based on a private western high school and some are like asian high school uniform(like Bullies for example). Pretty much unique. Even the school logo seems iconic and also on point for describing any troublesome situation by some of the delinquent kids in Bullworth. Still wishing on R* to develop BULLY 2 !!

Even Bully got small details that's way a head of its time..Rockstars know what they are doing with their games. Can you just imagine if we get a Bully sequel and runs in the RDR2 engine ?.. Seriously.....Screw GTA6,I want Bully 2.
