Anybody who says reselling isn't a legitimate business either doesn't do it, doesn't have the balls to try it or tried it and FAILED miserably (probably because they're too narrow minded to listen to resources for help). I have made legit money as a reseller for the better part of a decade and my sales and knowledge have INCREASED since starting to watch your videos Casey SO PLEASE KEEP IT UP! People totally piss me off too. When I tell local moms what I do... I get that look... I'm sure you know the look. Like I'm making up a job because I don't really do anything. Irritates the hell out of me but you know what... I know that my income from my LEGIT BUSINESS has paid for the groceries I feed my family, the gas that is in my car and the gifts I buy my kids. So the haters can suck it! :-P They're probably just jealous anyways.
@RockstarFlipper8 жыл бұрын
Lindey Glenn literally the person I'm referencing made a video about resellers and he looked like a total failure and I'm not one to talk about people but it was soo obvious. Lol smh. People use to question me hardcore and now when I pull up in the i8 NOONE questions me
@LindeyGlenn8 жыл бұрын
Well it does take a fair amount of common sense and reasonable deduction to be a reseller. Not everybody can be successful at it unfortunately. In the beginning the side income was like play money then turned into grocery and gas money... over the last year it has turned into paying 75% of my total household expenses! Gotta give a lot of kudos to you for helping me branch out and increase those profits! Thanks again for everything you do. I'll be a follower as long as you're here!

Most likely 90% of people are brainwashed about going to school doing well and hopefully find a good job working for someone else. In that note ive started my business doing Landscaping and Fencing... I also maintain some lawns. I know many people don't see lawn service as a real job. What people don't realize is that many single operator lawn guys make more Money than majority of the working class. I guess the best way to look at this is that you have less competition.
@HagakureJunkie6 жыл бұрын
Yeah, except they aren't brainwashed. They get to go home on a friday night and not think about their job until monday am. They don't have to rack their brain on how to market new products and services into an already oversaturated market. They get the one thing a business owner doesn't, FULL AND TOTAL RELAXATION. Most business owners will never be rich, they end up working a 80 hours a week or more to make minimum wage. You do landscaping and that's cool but there are a million other landscapers out there all fighting for the same finite amount of lawns in the area. You only have a certain range of lawns you can service so anyone who shows up in that area and beats you, you're screwed. I wish you the best because I'm on that same boat but I don't knock people with 9-5's anymore.

You provide valuable advice and information for FREE that has helped me get started and I've even had some success reselling. Three months in and I have about a 2% sell through rate! Just keep doing what you do and don't let other's comments get to you. I usually reply with something like 'I work online doing product coding and a few other things' and i usually get some snarky reply similar to 'that's not a *real* job.' But like you said, i do it everyday, it pays my bills and let's me buy a few nice things. Gets under my skin too. Much love brother! Keep making videos, i've learned a lot since watching your vids.

Sure go here www.google.com/alerts then search your local area ( for me its Wilmington Delaware, then Church Sale so like this Wilmington Delaware Church sale, or Wilmington Delaware yard sale, you can even search your zip code...Goolge will then email you anytime someone posts about a church sale in your area...I am learning all about Merch on Amazon, so I also do a alert for when someone posts helpful how to about merch...but you can alert yourself to anything happening this way...

Finding a good supplier and products to sell is not an easy task. However, the staff here go out of their way to respond to your questions and concerns and give you much needed advice and direction. They respond quickly and answer your questions always clearly so you're not going back and forth. Although I've dealt with a few of their customer service reps whom have all been wonderful, the most recent one was Rhea and she has been extremely helpful. KC is makes me sad you that even felt the need to defend yourself regarding people saying this isn't a real business. You know better than others, these are just haters. Any time success comes to someone, jealousy will come from someone. I love the fact that you are as transparent as you are, it's much appreciated. You give out good information and you don't shove affiliate links down our throats. You, along with a few other youtubers, taught me enough in a couple weeks to get me off the ground rolling. For the most part, it was your information. You told me what kind of sales to expect (1-2%~) which held true for me in my first week. I generated 3 sales in my first 5 days with no more than 60 items in inventory, and honestly my prices should have been lower but I put them slightly higher than I wanted to accept and offered Best offer. I have had so much excitement this last week until this morning. Yup, I woke up to a banned Ebay account. And it wasn't my new account that got banned but they linked my accounts and banned me. It turns out that I fucked up my first account in July and that fucked me for this. I went on a 2 week vacation to Yellowstone Park and I was camping with no computer and no reception. I was drop shipping from Aliexpress to Ebay and a few items sold. The listing had changed on Aliexpress at somepoint so I was no long able to get the product to the customer so I chose "out of stock.' I did this 5 times in July since I didn't understand it was hurting my account. I had 50 sales and 5 defects, so it appeared I had a 10% defect rate and boom, ban hammer. With all that being considered, a fire has already been started that cannot be put out. I had spent 93$ on inventory in the week and my first 3 sales were a total of 40$, 24$ profit. I had sold roughly 5% of my listed inventory and it had recovered roughly 25% of my inventory cost. I love it. So here I am this morning, drinking my coffee getting ready to go the bank and start fresh. These are a bunch of hoops I wish I didn't have to jump through, but I must continue and I already have extra private IPs for my other internet marketing experiments. I committed to this, winter is long up here which means no yard sales for nearly 6 months. Thanks again for everything.
@RockstarFlipper8 жыл бұрын
alrachid2 ouch sorry that happened. What's the eBay plan now or switching to Amazon? You can do it without eBay but it's tough. I have many friends who sell amazon only and make tons of money so that route is def open.

Ive been bitten by the resell bug and I can't stop now. yesterday I went to the bank and established a new account at a new bank. I bought a new IP and registered my new PayPal and eBay to the geo location. used a new phone number email and address. after reading it seems this is one way to get around it. not positive it will work yet but I am going to try. otherwise I'm going to have to pitch the business to a family member and get someone to help me out. currently waiting to get my paypal verified. Also I have been accumulating stuff for fba, mostly new in box and I made sure i want restricted. I do plan to go the private label ripe but my capital is low so I decided on bin reselling to try to build some capital.

If someone says this is not a real business, they know nothing about business nor do they know what a business is. My degree from a major ranked business school says THIS IS A REAL BUSINESS. But seriously a dimwit knows that you are running a business, if you are making a profit. I think the IRS is saying you are running a real business. Although I have a business background currently I have chosen to be a stay at home mom and I have sold on Ebay and Amazon and did well enough to pay off some major bills. Lots of work but you are your own boss and you can set your own schedule. And yes you do get an adrenaline rush when you make those big sales. Keep doing what you are doing we will be watching and Thanks!

Iam always getting crazy ideas a little bit out of the box, and iam hoping to rely on that to make it work. I never really had a dreamjob i would want to do, and i've been thinking of doing something like this for years, but i live in a small country in europe (Portugal), where there isnt much of garage sales or flee market culture. That alone kept me from try this. After a some research i did found out some potential old stuff markets that people do all around the country, so i do want to try that. Thanks for the inspiration. This does really seem to be a job i would actually have a lot of fun doing, wich of course, it's the most important to me!

You never need to explain yourself to anyone. I seriously feel your passion. As I said I am new to this. I have now taken up watching you everyday as I take the bus from Manhattan to NJ. My commute is at times over 2 hours long. Occasionally people fall asleep on my shoulders. I can share pics if anyone is interested! What I am saying is I hold a SVP position to a major bank. I am now looking at this as a viable alternative to apply my skills in customer service, finance, logistics and my love of vintage merchandise. I could not even begin to consider this without your help and advice every single day. You are the real deal and an extremely hard working individual. I have learned a lot and because of you I now make close to 1k a week doing this. It is work and it is tough but I have the passion and drive to push forward. This is somewhat thanks to you! Nelson i can't believe your trip everyday. Im soo sorry I'm just now replying. Thats incredible!! I would def try and find an alternative also. WOW. Well i hope you can scale up to whatever you need to make to stop the commute. Don't most people go INTO Manhattan rather than out of?
@I_photo_da_street8 жыл бұрын
RockstarFlipper it's a Commute From & To. A good day is 4 hours. However my point was what you do is a viable business and you work extremely hard. I know because I am doing it also and it's incredible the time and passion that's required. I wish you the most success possible!

Don't worry about haters. They are just jealous. Every moment you spend listening to them, you have wasted. God tells us to look upon what is true, just and pure for a reason. Negative thoughts are never good for you. You are great! You encourage me every day! There are lots of me's out here that say Thank you!!!!

words can not even express how much I appreciate your vids. I've only watched like 3 so far but learned something from them all so I subcribed! I been planning on doing this for a VERY long time and recently did a estate sale, I only got two items but after doing extensive research and trying to take good photos etc. I realize how much it takes to do this and so have been spending a lot of time on the set up and learning the ropes so I'm better prepared the next time. My husband has been upset with me cuz I'm spending literally ALL day just researching (he thinks I'm wasting my time, he doesn't see the money that can be made)....your vids have saved me soooo much time and from a buncha headaches and arguing! lol but arguing or not....I'm moving forward and damn ANYbody that don't wanna b supportive.
