Not sure, but it looks like original drummer Eric Budd is playing. Hope so, anyway. The first lineup doing mostly instros (with a few Chuck Tharp vocals) were the heroes of my youth, but I was just tickled pink when they hit the charts again with Jimmy later on... In a way The Fireballs were "everyband", going from late Fifties instrumentals, jacket-and-tie, and choreography all the way through full-blown late Sixties psychedelia. George is now the "last man standing", but still maintains the website and plays praise music with his church group. Great job, and a good long run, guys. Y'all have been in MY Rock and Roll Hall of Fame for a very long time. Can I get an "AMEN"!

This song was an afterthought for me, however recently I decided to perform it, just from casual listening it sounded to me like it was recorded by Barry McGuire and the New Christy Minstrels and I was surprised it was Jimmy Gilmore and the Fireballs I do like Sugar Shack.

Takes me back to 1968 it's one of the songs on the radio that I learned to play, holy crap it's gotta be almost 60 years ago and it's great to see them still working.

Man he lost it... the voice is gone... so flat, and so off key. These guitarists are right on point, and they need a new singer.
