@@ScreamingSoup It was a great watch! I've always wondered what some of the people who worked on it were up to these days. As an aside... I have the first two on Blu-Ray, the second two on DVD. In fact, I just sent a friend my VHS copy of the "director's cut" of the first movie. I remember watching the cartoon and must have mentioned it in front of my aunt or she saw me watching it. One day, she called the house to tell me that Return of the Killer Tomatoes was airing on the USA Network. I thought "there is a movie?!?" and came to find out that there were TWO movies. Well, until I went to go rent them from the local video store only to find out another movie was coming out in a few months and *then* catching a quick segment on E!'s early news show that another movie was in the works to come out not long after that. My life has never been the same. Somewhere, I'm sure I have my old FoxKids preview tape from KayBee Toys that has the first few minutes of a season 2 episode on it as well. If only I could find it... Anyway, makes me want to dig them out and watch them right now! Thanks again!

I swear, I’ve been watching Dead West and his adventures with Billy, Mandy and the gang for several years and I can rewatch your videos over and over and still never get tired of them and always catch a joke I’d missed prior! Screaming Soup is such an underrated channel and the fact that you did a whole video about all the “Killer Tomato” entities just proves how passionate you are about the the movies you love and review! Your "Killer Tomatoes" Retrospective is great. It was awesome to learn so much more than what we previously knew. I think there was only one matter in dispute and that was the matter of the "Killer Tomatoes" cartoon's cancellation in 1992. Steve Peace chalked it up to Fox Kids preparing to launch "Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers", but that'd be a year off from that show's debut in the fall of 1993. I'm thinking it was more the One/Two knockout punch of "Batman: The Animated Series" & "X-Men", both debuting in the fall of 1992 on Fox Kids. After 30 years, it'd be an easy mistake to make and in no way does it dampen the greatness of this retrospective. Excellent work by you and it is wonderful to see that so many people also have enjoyed this as much as I.

I thought the seaaon 2 cgi costed to much and they just ran out of money, the reason only 8 were produced vs 13 ordered....granted haven't watched the doc yet maybe that is covered.

This documentary is an outstanding, such a great watch and really engrossing throughout! I have been a fan of KT since the 80’s, I love all the movies and the animated show - ‘Return’ is definitely my favourite! The score is top notch too, that ‘Going after Gangrene’ track is prob one of my all time favourites! A proud dad moment as my 7 year old daughter has just become a fan too.🍅

This was amazing, I've been a huge fan of the franchise since I was a wee kid, only the first two movies were available in the UK and upon visiting South Africa in the mid-90s, I discovered Killer Tomatoes Strike Back & Eat France at the local video rental store. Killer Tomatoes Eat France is my personal favourite too. This is such an underrated absurd comedy series, which should have had a reboot during the late 90s/early 00s gross out comedy era. Thanks again for making this!

Babylon 5 and red Dwarf and Farscape are show that everyone seen to like. But i found to be the most awful thing, i found Babylon 5 and Farscape really boring. Like with Babylon 5. I think josh hadley who Said the main problem is so stage is just read cue cards. And for Farscape is just so boring as shit, i try it i Can not stand it, is so boring. And i just found red dwarf to be just unfunny.
