A wise old friend of mine once told me that when we physically point a finger at someone, if we check out the position of our hand, we are also pointing 3 fingers at ourselves. It is a sad state of affairs that in our world, blame and judgment are often the first reactions people have towards one another. Love and compassion no longer seem to have their worth. And as much as we all deplore the way the world is today, the only way to bring back our humanity to what we all wish for is to change ourselves into loving compassionate people. It won't happen by itself. We need to practice turning our negative thoughts to positive ones on a daily basis! Quite a challenge :) Takes a lifetime! but once we get the hang of it ,WOW!

Dude if someone pointed a finger at you now the only thing that would happen is a bad reputation you actually have the opportunity to clear after. If you were a woman in that era and someone pointed a finger at you, you'd be burned to death.

@@thekingpiti5366 Its no where as simple as you put it. After a finger being pointed at you, your social and work life will never recover, people will never stop judging you negatively. Reputations is all we have. A win in court is only a Pyrrhic Win. Ever heard of the term "court of public opinion" "believe all women" is slowly changing, thanks to amber. But she was right, all women need to do is plant the doubt in peoples head for a guy to be seen as guilty, no proof needed. Exactly how it went with the witch trials. No guy would want a reputation like that even if he did get a huge payout Reputation means more than money, especially if your a celebrity.
