Thank you for this documentary and for sending the pictures all over the world. I saw it yesterday for the first time on German television... I've never had to switch off so often because of the gruesome images. Images and fears that small children have to experience every day...in a cruel way. I have been following the war since the beginning, this movie got under my skin and clearly shows the suffering of these innocent people. It brought tears to my eyes so often - but that doesn't help. Ukraine must win, for democracy, freedom and all the people who have died senselessly in the war. May all this end quickly...

The movie has to be on youtube. Or televised by state national channels in Europe.

This film is made by Ukrainian producer! What stops Syrian, Libyan und others to make such documentaries? Of course, there will be more attention to the war in Ukraine than to wars in other parts of the world not because of discrimination, but simply because Ukraine is located in Europe and its connections to Europe are much more wider and stronger than the ones for example from Syria. We have had movies released before the war which were produced by Ukraine and Poland, Ukraine and Hungary and so on. I am sure that people in Iran know more about the war in Syria than about the war in Ukraine and the people of Poland know more about the war in Ukraine than about the war in Syria. It’s normal! I really can’t understand why you, people, are always complaining about smth regarding support of Ukraine.

You should raise more awareness of those conflicts, not compare one set of victims against another as all are suffering.

🌩 "Pregnant woman from Mariupol", Marianna Vyshemirskaya, shared her opinion on the Oscar-winning film "20 Days in Mariupol" with the Daily Storm. "As for this parade of hypocrisy - I'm not interested in it. It was clear to everyone from the beginning how it would end," Marianna Vyshemirskaya said. During the fighting for the city, a foreign correspondent photographed pregnant Marianna near a destroyed maternity hospital, after which the photo of the "Mariupol Madonna" went viral around the world. The author of "20 Days" Chernov also used the famous shots of her in his work. 💬 "I didn't watch the film and I didn't see the nomination either. I'm busy with more important things: work, humanitarian initiatives and spending time with loved ones in honour of my child's birthday," the young mother said. Vyshemirskaya will also not react to the use of footage of her in the film: "I'm not looking for reasons to react. While they are working on propaganda, I am working on helping people." Marianna Vyshemirskaya now lives in Russia and is engaged in volunteer work.
