Samara Bush they’re most likely an entirely different species, it is very common to misidentify a species of ant because of how similar they are. And I’m assuming the ants you saw are fire ants because they are invasive and pretty common. Fire ants are very generic, meaning a lot of other ants could be misinterpreted as one. So I am over 99% sure that it is a completely different species of ant than the one you saw.

Looks cool in a video. In real life, without a real source of water and a decent shelter raised or somehow protected from the ground, he would not have lasted 7 days. Not with all that energy at least. Spending as much calories and sweating as much as he would have after all the physical efforts we can clearly see, the lack of water would have made him slow, dizzy and non-functional in two days tops. Water is priority guys.

This is the way of life for some people and just because you can’t understand how or why, and just because you have your own understanding of what he will need to survive, does not make you right. He did have a water source- did you not see that. Also, hydration from roots, plants, and other types of environmental vegetation, is still hydration. It’s a forest in the mountains, he can find water easily.
