So I am in the process of building one, I will say that the way this video shows this being build is way more difficult than it has to be. If you're interested in some short cuts read below many of the parts that were cut or carved can be bought in those shapes already at any craft store like Michaels. 1. Use super glue. Glue sticks and school glue take way to long to dry and cure and make a huge mess. (This project is pristine and only a master craftsman could make this as clean as this DIY.) 2. A Dremel tool or mini band saw is ideal. But utility blades and scissors will work too. 3. Don't get too caught up in the EXACT dimensions, I realized I was putting in way too many measurements for latches that hold down the top that can be free handed just be consistent with the sizes. 4. Carving the edges to be angles at 1:59 is a huge waste of time. You can just make those inside edges square and those are basically match sticks, (it is near impossible to cut a popsicle stick into those even squares, but a bag of those square sticks at Michael's is $2.50 5.DO NOT CUT GEARS, jeez! I tried this and it took so much work for a gear that kept breaking and I studied carpentry in high school. you can buy craft gears premade on amazon or ebay. I bought old watch gears and made a cool lock from metal. 6. Don't trace hieroglyphs on paper to cut them into stencils 3:20 just free hand them onto the popsicle stick, then use a nail to make the impression, carving is a skill you don't need. 7. Same thing at 8:03 you can buy a bag of precut squares and rectangles at Michael's and then customize them to this design cutting all of those squares perfectly will drive you mad. I haven't finished yet but I will update this when I can. If anyone is looking for pictures my gmail is my full name with nothing else.

This is insane, I could say I'm impressed, but it's not enough to describe...I've have some skill to work with wood as well, but this is far beyond my level, congrats. I probably have the skill to do this, seeing now your excelent tutorial, but I don't know about the patience hahhaha PS: Just an ideia, you could do another vídeo showing off both the the Millenium Box and Puzzle with gold painting , it would be awesome

This is amazing! A replica Millenium Puzzle in puzzle form, with a replica box... that's also a puzzle! This is amazing attention to detail- do you have an ebay or etsy shop? I'll pay you any amount of money for one of these! If the box itself being a puzzle was canon, then it would certainly explain why it took Yugi 8 years to solve it!

I was curious and decided to measure my Yugioh Deck and if i had a box like this It'd have and internal dimensions of 9 cm X 6.5 cm X 4.5 cm which is only a bit bigger that the ones in the video, and also Yugi uses his as a Deck box ( that's how i had the idea to see what it needed) and I'm curious how much I'd need to pay someone to make it for me cuz I can't do arts and crafts this good, so if anyone is willing to help with it that be nice Edit: should probably mention I am not asking for a free gift, I will pay you, as long as I can afford it
