If you're looking for a good drugstore foundation, i totalllyyy recommend the rimmel lasting finish 25 hour foundation. It was like 6 dollars at target, and works perfectly!

The people who has the most negative to say about this video, I would LOVE to see them try this challenge. I'm sure their makeup won't look half as good as she did. Always quick to talk but at least she did her very best. $ either way she still paid under $20 and did ok.

I feel that your colors were off. Too dark foundation and too light concealer. Your eyes looked gray (I don't mean the eye shadow).

Elf is now sold at the Dollar Tree also. I was mad excited when I seen this happen. They don't always carry the same thing so I always stock up when I shop there for it!

big difference from using cheaper products and no brushes than useing brushes and/or high end products. I personally save for higher end because it's always better than drugstore. I used a maybelline concealer then a mac concealer and the mac was smoother and blended more well

The cheapest foundation, that matches my skin tone and has the right coverage is around 15€. I don't get around that. I tried many many times. Other than that I can put pretty much anything on my face. What spikes up the overall sum of my everyday makeup is the mascara (there are only a few with a ball-shaped brush, I love those but the cheapest is 15€) and the liptint (The cheap ones tend to dry out on me but my Astor one for 10€ is awesome!)

true but if she used another brand she would not have as much product. like if she used wet n wild she would have cut down on what sh used by half and any other drugstore product would get her maybe 3 items for $20

Same here! I own all of their silk finish lipsticks, and most of their megalast matte lipsticks! I didn't start collecting the brand until after they got rid of the old megalast lipsticks.

I've tried that covergirl foundation...it was weird...the color didnt match me but it was the only bottle I could find that looked closest to my skin tone. I ended up giving it to my mom. Wouldn't buy it again lol, but it looks like it works for you!

It's pretty amazing the difference of the two sides of your face! one using a brush to apply the foundation and the other one using just your fingers! :):) What was the brush by the way? :)

Hi! I have the same problem as you, I used to used the lightest shade of the Covergirl foundation and it was still too dark (it oxidizes!) I really like Revlon Photoready in Ivory or Revlon Colorstay in Ivory! :)

It's the same here in Turkey, too. I bought the same eyeshadow for 10, mascara for 18 and eyeliner for 15 Turkish Liras :( Lots of beauty-makeup stuff which are sold as drugstore in US are expensive here :(

There's two different "lines" of Elf makeup. The white type products are $1, the Elf Studio products are $3-10. It all depends on the certain ones you buy.

It looks ok but you are right. Eye shadow brushes do make a BIG difference. I don't think the foundation covers as good as the one you usually use. My whole life I have never used foundation because every one I tried always burns my face & left it red when I washed it off. So I thought I would give it a try again & didn't want to buy anything expensive. So, I bought Wet & Wild and was amazed. It was the right color, full coverage and didn't burn my skin. It only cost one or two dollars..

I have that foundation in that exact color and it made me kinda orange and was darker when I put it all over my face! But I tried a little bit on in the store and it was fine! After that I decried to stop experimenting and stuck with my super expensive Laura mercier stuff

So many people are complaining about the fact she used a lot of elf but what were you really expecting with a limit of $20? Loreal? Revelon? Be realistic to keep to the challenge you have to work with in the rules of it Elf is affordable and if you are someone who is actually on that kind of budget you would be able to buy everything for your face with that brand alone.

I've found it easier to blend eyeshadow with my fingers than with the sponge tip applicators. Maybe that would've made the eyeshadow look better? You could even wrap a tissue over the tip of your finger.
