Was this hair heavy? Do you think it will be good to go swimming in this hair

the hair is only heavy depending on how many packs you use. It wasn't heavy for me. As far as swimming with it...I didn't get a chance to swim with it but I have wet it before .. held up pretty well for me.. So I think you'll be fine just don't get sand in it if you're going to a beach.
