No ability cards can also take advantage of the Washington D.C. location (+3 power for no ability cards), though it's only one location, and it's random, so it's not like you'll build a deck around that, but it's there :)

There is also Onslaught which can boost your Patriot alot and Ultron also helps with his drones to fill other locations which you didn't get to and even gain power on them through Patriot+Onslaught

Mission refills only give 150 credits pre use it is equal to buying credits out right with a 5 credits to 4 gold ratio. Also, the Collector's Tokens now have a 5 tokens to 7 gold ratio.

I like Marvel Snap. But one of things I find annoying and a missed opportunity is that there is no team synergy. Why wouldn't you have it to where X-Men or Avengers working together get some sort of bonus? Example: Colossus and Wolverine in the same zone get a +3 boost with Fastball Special. But otherwise, there's a lot to like about the game.

It’s actually one of the things I find refreshing about marvel snap. In Dokkan Battle, another game I play a lot, 98% of deckbuilding is just sorting by a category that the leader buffs and then picking the strongest cards.

Started a few days ago. Due to the chaotic nature of the locations, it helps the balance. I can see myself getting into this. Unless there is some paywall somewhere, would suck to become fodder later on in the game.

There are only 6 cards (1 card for each cost) without any ability so it's pretty easy to avoid them and not be missing out on their power level.

There are other no ability cards which are apart of ability cards. With Patriot you can take advantage of that. For example, Ultron with his drones, The Hood with the Demon, Mysterio with his illusions, Mr. Sinister with his clone, Brood with it's broodlings, Squirrel Girl with her squirrels, etc.

2:37 things have changed! You wanna spend your gold on the gold bundles. Last Bundle gave you 133,3 Credits per 100 Gold PLUS 1/3 of your spent gold in tokens which is huuge. and you get a variant avatar and title. Missions give you 125 Credits per 100 Gold.

I know this is an old video, but if someone late to the game (like me) is looking up tips, I just want to clarify: if you are tied in the number of locations with your opponent, the game takes the difference between the power levels of the locations to decide the winner. Let's say the first location is 0-0 the second location you lose 16-17, and the third location you win 12-4: you win that game because you had 8 points and the opponent had 1. It's not the highest power level (which would be 17 in this case) that wins.

It means pay players will have exclusive access to cards in a battle pass for two months then they enter the card pool for everyone else, as far as I understand. I have no problem with this, there’s a marvel game that has seen 2 years go by without releasing OP characters to a farmable place and still cost 50$ to gain half an unlock.

I think another good tip is: If you are a new player, don't fast upgrade cards at the shop, because you might be wasting credits on points you'll be obtaining by playing the game naturally

What do you get after you complete the 25 weekly challenges? 50-100 credits per mission and 25-50 season XP? Does the gray boarder thing still count for variants? I had to played 7 matches until it gave me boosters specific to my gray boarder.

The grey border thing doesn't work like that anymore. Now the game prioritizes cards that don't have enough boosters to upgrade now. Gold is also a lot rarer now so unless you really want credits i'd save gold

I wonder if they'll eventually scrap the cards with non-abilities, giving any card (like Cyclops) that doesn't have an ability an actual ability, and changing any other cards that effect cards with no abilities. That's my hope at least - since I really want to use Cyclops more!

Great video. I'm still new, but there is one thing I think should be clarified about buying credits with gold. All 3 options net the same amount of credits for gold. 150 credits for 120 gold, 1.25 credits per gold spent. 500 credits for 400 gold, 1.25 credits per gold spent. 120 gold for 2 daily missions. This option always nets 1 normal mission for 50 credits, and one hard mission for 100 credits, or 1.25 credits per gold spent. The reason the daily mission option can be better is because it nets you a little season pass exp, 75 in total, and if you missed a few days and aren't going to naturally cap your weekly daily mission goals, it is good for catch up. But if you only want the credits, all 3 options are going to pay out equally.
