I’m afraid with the very first episode, there is a major mistake, and an assumption. Life expectancy of 25 was the average of the time a person died, adding up the ages, and then dividing by the number. When in truth people lived between 45 and 65 years or maybe even 70 with the possibility of a reaching 100. Most people died young, so this drove down the age. it was rare to live long life, but not impossible or Unknown. You have to remain healthy, not contracting infection, and not be poisoned… or meat with an accident. People regularly, if you could make it pass 30 could live to 45 or even 50… It was a hard life from people did not live long. They died, young, and, as I said, it would drive down the average age if you took an average.
I remember in the late 60s there were loads of old piers and small barges and old, partially sunken boats at these old docks and there were quite a few of them. It took a long time for all of them to be buried or removed.

I wish I was an archaeologist I love looking at stuff like this I'd give anything to dig up dead people from a long time ago and see what they look like now I don't know why I know that's probably morbid.
