Disney had a serious tv series, The Sons of Liberty in the 50s believe it or not !! We were glued to it. Learned a tremendous amount of history and the people who made it.

10:20 Old Pat Henry. Glasses --- his spectacles --- are being sported chicly on the head! Hey... Old Binyon does that with the darn mask. Lenses steam up... so glasses to the forehead! Just call me little Pat H. What a cool-appearing dude. I wonder if he had shades?

Nowadays we would consider the Sons of Liberty to be an extremist group. The British most definitely consider them that. And I'm sure they had no problem with the practice of slavery which was practice in all 13 colonies at the time.

America was founded to end slavery.

I'm not sure about Son's Of Liberty.. but I know I had at least 2 ancestors in the revolutionary war. William Bradford is one of my 9th great grandpa's. Another 9th great grandpa was one of the original colonist of Norwich Ct. He was given land from the alliance with Uncas against the Narangsete. His land became Post and Gager cemetery.

Considering every human on Earth is related...William Bradford is a parent, uncle, or cousin to every human on the planet.
