the perception is distorted when you smell one perfume and then another, like when you put 2 colors together. that's why some versus have contradictory conclusions. There should be a pause before smelling the second fragrance. Greetings!

Hey Curly I just bought the Synergy and it’s GREAT… BUT… one of the samples… you HAVE TO TRY… let me start by talking about Byredo’s Blanche. He said he made it because he wanted to capture the scent of a freshly washed white T-shirt that was hung on a clothes line to dry in the air. I didn’t get none of that when I smelled it but it’s still a GREAT cologne. BUT. I just smelled a sample from a house I never heard of called Liis. The name of the fragrance is called Floating… they did it… they captured the scent Byredo failed to get. I DIDN’T know what I was smelling. I was amazed but I couldn’t put my finger on it. So I came to KZbin to see if there were any videos and EVERYBODY said it smells like photorealistic frag linen. I said “EXACTLY!” It smells like photorealistic fresh linen.

I don't like Sedley either 😂 and I agree that for me the 1 Million Royal is perfect for a summer night, similar to Jazz Club which is a light gourmand, at least to my nose, but I get the citrus notes in the 1 Million Royal. For colder months my choice is jpg Elixir because it's more smoky on my skin than sweet (sweet only in the middle note). JPG Elixir is similar to Naxos on my skin but Elixir is much denser and smoky.

Got 1Million Royal 200ml and either they make it less powerful in large bottles or this is 3h perfume which does not project. 💁‍♂

@@L2HfT well, compared to Jazz Club, 1 million Royal is lasts longer on me but i agree both are not the type of perfume with big projections, only close to skin scent. If you want a gourmand perfume with a strong projection, get the SWI Intensely. It lasts longer too, easy 10+ hours. It's smoky but not too dense like SWI Absolutely but project more than Absolutely. 1 million royal is much softer and lighter than JPG Elixir & SWI Intensely, but that's why it's perfect for summer.

Love Layton but no, I don’t care for Sedley either. Or Percival for that matter since they are so similar. I was thinking about JPG Le Male elixir but you said it smells a bit like Naxos. My question: how much? Because I somewhat like it but the people around me, especially my wife, do not.

@@novumdomine9925 Maybe because both have warm spicy-tobacco-honey notes. But JPG Elixir is sweeter in the middle notes, and the drydown is more intense and smoky on my skin than Naxos. On my skin even JPG Elixir tends to be leathery in the middle notes for about half an hour (though there are no leather notes in JPG Elixir), then after that the tobacco slowly comes on drydown. The tobacco in Naxos is so smooth it barely smells on my skin, but the honey note smells stronger than JPg Elixir. Naxos is lighter and elegant, JPG Elixir is bold. So for me it's not redundant if I have both, similar but still quite different. I hope I can describe it well 😆

I thought I'd add some spice to my life with cologne because Curly likes spicey fragrances, highly suggests it, and I guess I took 'spice' too literally by adding pepper and tobasco sauce. Not a good idea.

Great video however, I'm wondering if you ever created a video with 10 guys, 10 fragrances (with correct number of sprays) after 10 minutes or an hour to see what she and other women like. Videos comparing on a paper stick is nice however, fragrances do smell different after some time and on an actual body. Some scents aren't even noticeable after an hour. Ms. Fresh definitely has to be one of the blindfolded testers 😉It'd be good too, to avoid influencing the rating like with the one fragrance getting her to go from a 7 (3:19) to a 10 (3:44) with the Narcisco fragrance.

Very nice video as always Michella!! I went into niche with Aventus and second one was Xerjoff's Alexandria II because I love oud (since Tom Ford's Oud Wood). Thus, I went to Xerjoff with my beloved Alexandria II. Any chance you know a way on how to buy Arabian Oud Ressala in Greece (EU)? If you remember, I daily use Scorpion Intense and Alexandia ii on special occasions. You should make a top 10 video with the best oud fragrances. I am curious to see a comparison with Xerjoff's Alexandria II/Ether/Empiryan/Malesia, Odyon's Scorpion Intense, Arabian Oud's Resala, LVMH's Ombre Nomade, Parfums de Marly Layton Exclusif, Initio's Oud for Greatness, Oman Luxury KhanjarDb Sahraa, Mizensir Perfect/Golden Oud, Nishane's Nefs, Amouroud's Wet Stone and Sospiro's Erba Oud. Also, I would like to know what happened with Hemcael's Caelum. My apologies for the large post.
