The one that "surprised me the most" (or rather bothered me the most) is Courtney Cox not winning an award. It never felt like she was below the rest of the main cast. It's probably because Monica is written to be the show's "straight man/woman" (the grounded person) most of the time so she's normally not the funniest and is more likely to be overlooked, which is unfair. Despite that, her acting is so real and emotionally raw that she brings a sentimental aspect to the show, allowing the audience to connect to Friends more than just through humour. A lot of the show's emotional and memorable moments come from Monica ❤🖤
