By far my fave line, which I dont remember how it goes exactly, is where Cage says something along the lines of "Knock me down, i'll keep getting back up. You can't kill me, i'm NIC FUCKING CAAAAAGE! oww". As I said, not word for word but the last part always gets me cause it sounds like Nic hurt his throat yelling like that.

This gnome appeared before L4D2. It originates from "Half-Life 2 - Episode 2", where it incidentally is an achievement in that game called "Gnome Alone". It requires you to find the gnome at the start of the game, and carry it with you all the way to the end where you send it off on a rocket to space. A long and tedious achievement, especially through the driving part of Episode 2, and you basically have to carry the gnome with you for 90% of the game.

I absolutely adore the two new charms that they are granting to anyone who has bought Silent Hill skins! The first one, Mira the Dog, is a reference to a joke ending in SH2 where she was the one secretly controlling the events of the game lol. The second charm is a UFO, which is a classic joke ending across the entire franchise, insinuating that it was aliens at work the whole time! 😂 I really hope Cheryl's new legendary skin will be Maria, James' guilt continuing to follow him even in the Realm.

My favorite Nic Cage quote is when he says "It's Caging time when he faces PyHead". No but for real my favorite Quote is when another survivor unhooks Nic Cage and he says something along the lines of "My Hero" (can't recall the exact line) but that's how I feel as well after having people let me hang on the hook for almost 2 stages. And of course as DBD player I'm completely embracing his "I hate the fog" line because that's how I feel playing DBD as well.

Gold egg is from RE5. Ink egg makes sense for a killer whose entire schtick is birds and ink. Scarlet egg is probably from silent hill as well. Hag's three egg addons are for the ritual and magic stuff. Demo's unknown egg also makes sense for the upside down and its strange creatures, one probably does eggs.

One thing I would like to add to the "Score Events" part, is during DBD's Beta, when you got grabbed from a locker, there was a Score Event called "Surprise Motherfucker", it was later removed, but still something I find funny.

Some of my favorite score event names: "Banished": For ending the chain hunt against Pinhead "Too Close For Comfort": For breaking free from Deathslinger's chain within 3 meters of him. "Capture The Flag": For picking up the Standard when getting hunted by The Knight's guards. "Grace Under Fire": For unhooking a teammate while you are hunted by a guard

Re: eggs, pyramid head’s egg addons came directly from SH2 and Hag’s three egg addons make sense since eggshells are popular ingredients in spellcrafting, she probably uses eggshells to make her hexes

Gnome Chompski: The Spawn of the gnome in trial startet on totem spawns when the EGC was triggered. And it switched position every 30 seconds. So you had a max of 8 spawns per trial and no indicator like an aura. It was a nightmare.

I think it’s interesting that Nic has a voice line referencing Vigo. The Notes from the Absurd are fascinating in the way they build up The Mad Designer, implying she can draw things that are either true in one world or her own, basically meaning she could just draw herself out of The Realm of The Entity but chooses not to because she seems to be some strange fan girl for the Entity.

In resident evil 5 you can get eggs of different colors that you can throw at enemies or eat them to heal you or sell for money. As for the two that pyramid Head has those are references to pyramid Head end silent Hill 2 when you have the two pyramid heads kill themselves you get a rusted egg from one and a Scarlet egg from the other.

Regarding Gnome Chompski, if you bring him all the way to end of the Dark Carnival campaign, including escaping, you get an achievement. On the Xbox 360, getting the achievement also unlocked a Gnome Chompski for your Avatar.
