My then 8 year old flew LAX-SYD in QF F with me back in 2013. Redemption at the time was just 62.5K AA miles per person. I got ridiculously lucky finding 2 F award seats when it was tough to even find one

I think it worked out well that you had a shower before you found the nap room. That made it so you could spend more of the 6 hour time window sleeping soundly. This is an astonishing lounge. I hope you make it back to Doha in First Class again soon.

FYI, the Cathedral being fixed after the 2019 fire is called "Notre Dame", Our Lady in English. What you thought was Miso paste at the lounge was Olive paste. The flowers in your food are edible and common in Michelin grade cuisine. The Eiffel Tower was built before the Tokyo Tower. The Tokyo Tower was inspired by the Eiffel tower, so it is the Eiffel tower of Japan, not the other way around. Also be kind and generous to the poor pigeons in the city, they have a rough life and it's hard for them to find food.
