I suggest getting the toilet brush cleaning set. It is silver colored (Stainless steel I think) and has a cover with a round brush that screws into the top cover. It looks really nice, they still have the brushes (I bought four the last time, one to change immediately and 2 for later) It's plastic lined in black and holds the water drips. All easy to clean. Second suggestion for storage is to buy two sets of 4 bed risers, I used the black ones. One set under your bed's legs, two sets if you need taller storage. Hide with dust ruffles, one set usually does it but if using 2 sets of risers put a ruffle on the box spring or support under the bed and then another on top of the springs. Works great and hide stuff well.

I have the blue laundry bucket and I've had them for several years, they're great. A little difficult to get apart if you stack them, but they're so easy to clean and hold a ton!
@catherinesanders98294 жыл бұрын
ALLYSSON, try using tissue paper, the wrapping kind, between the laundry baskets; or use the blank newsprint paper, the kind one uses for packing to move (if you have it lying around). Either should eliminate the separation problem.
@allyssonschlegel39864 жыл бұрын
@@catherinesanders9829 gotta be careful with newspaper, the outside of these is matte, and it gets dirty from that. Tissue paper might work, but usually I just fight them apart when necessary in the laundry room lol. I just avoid stacking them
@catherinesanders98294 жыл бұрын
@@allyssonschlegel3986 Perhaps "newsprint paper" was the incorrect name. I meant the blank cream to light tan paper used for packing/moving and reminiscent of the paper I was given in kindergarten and first grade to draw or write on but you may not be old enough for that memory😊. It wouldn't hurt surfaces.

If they will be on a couch or chair where people will actually lean their backs on them, it is worth the time and effort to get a needle and thread and sew the pillow covers together, rather than just glue gun them. Doesn't require great sewing skills. Just a simple stitch will keep them from popping open, as they did in the video during the tutorial. For the amount of DIY you do, you might even find it worthwhile to buy a simple sewing machine. No need to buy one of those hundreds-of-dollars-costing computerized ones (that end up gathering dust in a box in the closet, from what I've seen, lol). All you need is two stitches: straight and zigzag. I think it would open up a whole new world of DIY ideas for you!

All the many Home Depots where I live are so understocked, it spooks me. Makes me feel like they know "something bad is going to happen here, so why stock a lot of merchandise?" Earlier this month, I visited relatives in another city, and theirs was how a Home Depot should look, well-stocked, like all the Home Depots in our city used to look. Now they look like warehouses going out of business. It's really eery, to me.
