always some odd ones there, i guess some companies just need to keep rethinking i tend to think anything designed to get in and out shouldn't have tracks, while fairly agile, they are still the most venerable part of a vehicle i have worked on armor vehicles myself, most will provide essential protection for personnel but still the vehicles lack vehicle protection to essentials such as engine, gearbox and running gear - run flat tires are best, but if the gearbox and engine, wiring and other running gear are put out of action, the occupants will have to sit and wait for rescue or the doom, i can't think of a worse way to go, be blown up or wait for the indians to come and eventually tear you away for execution Alvis, wow are they really still trying to revive the old Pig (Saracen) amazing, i drove one when i was 15 even before i drove a car i think, maybe a tractor, and yes they handled like a pig too - the design does need a major modernization, LEDs, can't believe they are still using very standard lights, they really need to look at some of the vehicles here, modern, robust, and quite desirable - remember, if it looks right, it's more likely to sell, remember that F35 thing and what it went up against from Boeing, Pig ugly
