The first one, which apparently works through a sun-roof, seems like the safest tent. One factor that cannot be forgotten are critters. Especially big, scary critters like bears and wolves. If you're living this way, then this is a real concern. On great appeal to walls is they protect you from animals like that.

Real outdoors people know how to not attract bears, wolves, raccoons or otherwise. I have been camping in a standard tent, and spent years sleeping deep in the mountains and desert plains all over the Western US, with no tent, just on the ground and nothing ever hurt me. Life is tough, it's even tougher (and more expensive) if you are ignorant.

I'm confused by some of the comments....... people camp in tents every day. Are people seeing these differently because "home" is attached to them? Not judging, I personally don't go camping. But plenty of others do so I'm curious as to why so many comments refer to the dangers of sleeping outdoors. Please don't be hateful- I'm asking because I'd really like to know. Thanks😊

People who live in Mid-Western states with all these tornadoes should consider living in tents! Native Americans on the Plains lived in portable tents . They followed the buffalo! They probably were very aware of the dangerous tornado seasons in the Mid - West! People in Florida should have platform homes with old tires ,under so when a Hurricane causes flooding , their homes could float! Tents or Geodestic Dome homes!

It needs to Zipp and Clip with External tie downs total length 11 ft long and 10 foot wide for a small car 🚗 to hold the Floor down with the weight of the car. Also keep out of the Harsh weather like wind and rain 🌧️.4 sided zipper modular tent. So it can be expanded in all 4 directions. Mold proof and Air Pop up in minutes.

@MaxAntoineFleurentin0074 ай бұрын
Oh, of course, a regular tent is like a fortress! I mean, who hasn’t heard of those legendary tent walls made of steel that wild animals just bounce right off of? One swift flick of a bear’s claw, and instead of tearing through fabric, it just politely walks away because, obviously, tents are impenetrable. But seriously, if you're worried about being dinner, maybe the focus should be on something more substantial than fabric, inflatable or not. Because, in the wild, both an inflatable tent and a regular tent are basically just fancy wrapping paper for your wilderness burrito self. No hard feelings here, just having a little fun with it! After all, camping’s all about enjoying the great outdoors-whether you're wrapped in an inflatable tent or the trusty old fabric kind. 😊

Pulled up to a site in our van during a downpour. 15 mins later we were hooked up to power and water, stabilisers down, canopy down and brewing a cuppa. Couple pulled up with an inflatable camper on a trailer - watched them for 2 hours inflating it because they had to keep adjusting it to make sure there were no creases and it was working properly. They would be horrendous if you’re only staying for one night anywhere, as we often do on long trips. I would imagine that an inflatable wouldn’t be very durable either.

Can confirm the Berghaus Air series of tents are very nice. I have the air 8 (original version not the "Nightfall" version), which is similar to the air 6XL, apart from instead of having 3 double bed sleeping pods at one end and an open porch at the other, it has 2 double bed sleeping pods at each end (and are slightly bigger than the air 6 sleeping pods) As it doesnt have an open porch it doesnt need those few long poles either, its all air beams. Which are very strong indeed, my dog decided to try clawing at one of the beams and it was perfectly fine (it does come with a puncture repair kit though just in case) Its about 7.5 meters long and just over 2m tall so a 6ft 4in person can stand up in it without issues. The middle section (the living room) is about 3m x 3m which is more than enough room for a foldable dining table, 4 chairs and all your cooking equipment. When i bought mine it was around £850 but i have seen them as cheap as £550. Once you get used to setting it up, 1 person can have the tent up and ready in about 20 mins (including doing the guy ropes) It has held up in 30mph winds, hail and a 4 hour downpour without so much as a drop getting in, thanks to its 6000HH rating (an average family tent is usually around 3000-4000HH) so its super dry inside all the time.

All these tents look brand new. But guess what: if they'er not made with material as strong as lumber tarps or teflon, all your inflatable air is going to go right out the window in about two to three months once you're tired of patching up the holes in your air mattress and air walls caused by burning embers, accidental sharp pokes, raccoons and rats ripping through it to get to your food while you're away; hot Colmon stove too close to the cheap air-holding fabric; etc. Said time frame for these type of tent materials only applies if you're living in it every day (not just a two day camping trip) and especially with other people. Times 10 faster if you're living with children or animals.
